Search Results: do you ever think of your ex

I feel like it's ridiculous for me to count my ex "relationship" as a relationship, since:
1- I never met the guy in real life.
2- We never called
3- We barely video-chatted (like barely twice).
4- It lasted for about 7 months only.
5- It was almost 100% sure it would lead to nothing ( very big distance, too many cultural differences).

I think it mostly depends on the people in it though , many people manage to keep it for more than a year, and are really into it and have legit plans to meet up and eventually move to the other's country (and they put a lot of effort in it to make it seem more real, like calling and video-chatting frequently).

If I ever think about getting into a new one, it has to be REALISTIC as in: Closing the distance within a year, regular phone calls etc... Which I might do with this new guy since we come from the same country (much easier to meet up during vacations when we're both home).

I think that if I ever mention it as a relationship to another guy he might find it funny, lame and ridiculous... I know that my friends do at least lol they say it's not even a relationship and I shouldn't mention it. I kinda agree with them but I want your opinion on it. :)

Would you date a guy who is your classmates ex?
I have never been in a relationship and I am very picky when it comes to dating. But I got interested in my classmates boyfriend. I thought he was super nice but ofc never thought about any more than friendship with him while they were still together.
Then I heard they broke up and the girl had been quite unfair to him. I heard it from her self and she found a new guy right away and was completely happy with the change. I didn't see her ex for a year or so...
Now we met by accident. He asked me to hang out with him and his friends and then he was a little surprised to hear his ex was on the same class with me. I think he knew it but tried to hide it.
I have never ever thought about dating him but now I started to think about it. He asked me out again but we left it open and I am not sure if I should end this because of my classmate or not think about it at all and go for it... I am not really best friends with this classmate but she didn't like me at the beginning and now she has started to like me, so I don't want to ruin it either. Do you think she will get mad if she finds out? Do you think I should not worry about it?

We live 7000 miles away (I'm in Asia and my boyfriend lives in Europe). I have been in this so called relationship for 1.5 years, we both have visited each other in each our countries and we always plan ahead when is the next visit.

But my main problem here is up to this point I do not believe in long distance relationships and I have trust issues. I kept going because my boyfriend is a genuinely nice person and he's willing to do anything to make it work and for us to be together in the future, which is why I want to believe that this will work. But there will always be a part of me that keeps on saying it will all end one day. Furthermore, knowing or having heard of all these people whom had been unfaithful to their partners, whether they live near or far, (I have also accidentally been the side chick a few times), I don't believe that there are men out there who are completely faithful to their partners. Not to mention the first time we met he was still hung up on his ex girlfriend, whom he sometimes still sees since they are in the same circle of friends.

These had been the biggest issues between us and I have tried to break up for these reasons several times. I always ask him if he had ever cheated on me or if he ever had any attraction for someone else. I've also accused him of still having feelings for his ex girlfriend. He kept telling me he had never done or felt such thing. As far as I know he had never lied to me and he had never mistreated me.
I know I might be insecure but I really cannot ignore these thoughts of him being unfaithful.

I really don't know what to do. I need some insights!
