I dated a guy for 2 years and then I found out he had been cheating on me throughout the entire duration of our relationship. I left him in May and then I met a guy in July. I did not expect to be in a relationship so soon after such a devestating breakup.

My current guy is really sweet, loyal and House husband material, but he’s not romantic in any way. I have spoken to him and I’ve told him that I really appreciate all the little things he does such as my ironing, the cooking, cleaning etc but I wish he could be a little bit romantic once in a while. He doesn’t agree with my idea of romance, he thinks that gifting flowers, chocolates, fancy dinners are things that what couples in failing marriages do and there is no trace of me on his socia media. I hate to be the person who keeps tally but I think I’ve been very romantic; I managed to get hold of a rare copy of a book he’s been searching for years, I surprised him with concert tickets for a band he really wants to see and I bought him a pair of £200 earphones he has been eyeing up for months. Valentine’s Day is a silly commercial holiday but I was hoping for at least something but I got nothing! nada!

He lives just over an hour away via train, I travel every week/every couple of weeks to see him but all we ever do is stay at home with his mum, watch tv and occasionally go to the pub next door with his mum. I help babysit his niece and he sometimes leaves me at his home alone so he can go kickboxing for a couple of hours. I’ve been going through depression, I’ve only opened up to him once and he gossiped about my business to his mum so I haven’t been able to trust him with any other secrets.

Despite all of that I still really like him but a part of me feels like we’ve hit dead end because he’s not romantic. Should I dump him? Am I shallow for wanting gifts and fancy dinners once I a while?

I had a fling with a guy, met him in November, started having sex with him in December, last time we hooked up was beginning of January. Then I got in trouble with parents and lost contact with him.

He claimed me as a girlfriend though I viewed him as just a hookup. But after a month with no contact I miss him so much and want to hit him up through instagram. The thing is i know he's a dead end, a relationship with him will not go anywhere, I just want to see him again tbh. He was my first kiss first sex first everything so I'm a little in my feelings about him cause of that

But I want a guy's perspective, is it a bad idea? Since it's been a month do you think he's moved on? Will I just be embarrassing myself contacting him? How would you react if you were him and got a message from me?

So, yesterday we had a discussion on the how do I look thing and my opinion was that it takes courage but also that we should not need the validation of others but still we want it. I think it lsp depends on the crowd, do thy sugar coat or are they honest. I said that I will give it a go today so, I am gonna post my profile picture, it's only a face shot, don't know how well that will work and I will probably regret this post later but lets say it's educational. I am mostly a strong person so here we go. I need then the following:
