My boyfriend's friends keep saying he's lucky as hell he has me, but he doesn't think so. I'm curious what you guys think.

-Short / very petite
-Dresses cute (Thigh highs and neck ribbons are a staple)
-Cancels our own plans so you can have a guy's night
-Makes baked treat snack boxes for guy's night
-Plans fun dates, even after three years (Go karting, paintball, shooting range, ect) out of own pocket
-Pays for pretty much every date, actually
-Pays attention to everything you like, so you can have a happy birthday/christmas/whatever presents
-Likes watching anime/playing JRPGs
-Does oral 90% of the time when asked
-Doesn't mind cleaning up after you / you come home to a clean house with laundry done
-Makes lunch/dinner and drop it off for you every weekend while doing overtime/working
-Only gets a little disapointed for cancelled dates, doesn't actually yell
-Can't actually yell, my voice is too quiet
-I haven't gotten a birthday present in two years and don't mind
-Baking, baking, baking. Always cookies and cupcakes.
-On special days, breakfast in bed
-Adventures are fun!

We've been dating for a little over 1 year. I'm 25 with a 7 year old son, he's 23 with no children. Lately our relationship has been in the toilet. Around Thanksgiving & Christmas it was like we were finally over the nonsense things in our relationship. We were 100% happy. The problems started around New Years. I was really excited & he knew that I was excited for our first new years together. I dreamed of a nice dinner, drinking some things to get us feeling nice, talking, laughing, sharing. What happened? Quite the opposite. I went to Atlantic City with my very very responsible sister who doesn't drink doesn't smoke doesn't hang out with wrong crowds AT ALL. He was upset because he wanted to go, he was invited but didn't come. New Years Eve morning I call him to say what are we doing tonight, & he says "Well I am having a party, I don't know what you're doing." This was odd because A. He doesn't hang out with many fiends ever, & B. He would normally mention something like that. I could tell he was mad because I went on a day trip. So I let it go. I ended up at this party that I didn't want to be at. I drank not even a lot but somehow managed to throw up the whole night. He knew I was sick & I begged him to send everyone home they were very loud & acting reckless in his house. He continued playing beer pong while I died upstairs. When he realized how sick I was (passing out in my own puke) He told his friends to leave. It was a bad night. Not to mention he invited this girl who is absolutely in love with him. Thinking I wouldn't be there. 3 days later I was back at his house. He told me he didn't like me having FB messenger because he doesn't like men talking to me. That same night he left his phone home which I of course snooped through. He hit up his old gf saying he missed her and wanted her to come to his new apartment. He also messaged another girl calling her "baby girl". I don't trust him anymore. No matter what I do he's grumpy & mean & always negative now.

My ex and I had dated for 3 years (9.14.11) and he's enlisted in the Army. He got sent back in the middle of October because he hurt himself badly and he needed to recover. We spent this time together. He got sent back a few weeks later then came back for Christmas leave.

During Christmas things were great and I when to his father's house and cooked everyone dinner. We all exchanged gifts and had a great time. Things got bumpy around New Years.

On New Years Eve, I wanted to go out to a party and watch the ball drop but he wanted to be introvert and stay home. He said, "I don't know those people I just want to stay home with you." I understood that but we did that every single year!

The party was being hosted by his older sisters friends and I didn't know them either so I figured we could get to know people as a couple. I brought this up in conversation and he was still against it. He told me he had something planned for us. That same night (8ish) we watched Netflix movies and cuddled (what we do every year). Around 10pm we argued about why we couldn't do anything different. It lasted all the way till 12 and we didn't kiss or anything (great resolution I know - __-). The took me home and the whole car ride I cried because he said some things that hurt me terribly. I had an anxiety attack as well.

The next day I realized that after the night before we had way more differences than I thought. I tried to suggest things but he wouldn't budge. Then I said if you won't change for the benefit of us then you will never change and we'll continue to argue. We broke up the same day. I said I needed space.

He left two days after for basic and we've been writing evers since. We talked on the phone earlier this month but it was brief. I miss him but I'm scared he'll never change. He graduates on the 19th this month and he asked was I coming. Its a 6 hour drive and his parents are coming. I miss him.

My question is should I go and try to resolve some things?
