I'm in a tough situation. I've come to realize that while I do value the relationships I've had in the past, I'm not cut out for monogamy. I have never cheated and I purposely try to float somewhere one step further than friends with benefits but one step behind a full on relationship so I have an out. But I REALLY like this cool ass Turkish chick I'm seeing now and I have "committed" to her more than others in the past but I'm still not with the monogamy. It might make me more of an ass than just cheating depending on who you ask, but I have broken up with a girl in an otherwise perfectly fine relationship for no other reason than I wanted to see other women. Because I'd rather do that and end things as amicably as possible rather than burn all bridges, be an ass and cause uneeded distress by cheating. But that's where this changes, because I don't want to break up with this girl at all but at the same time I am cognizant of the fact and will admit that I am kind of manipulating her emotions and feelings for me by trying to get her to be into open relationships and it's making me feel kinda icky. Should I just break up with her, how would you feel?

I got a female friend who dated a guy for twice. Both two dates went quite well. Then, drama came. Her brother living in the same State in Australia came her city for a trip and also went to visit her. Since he lives in a male friend's house, he went to shopping for his meals. At that time, her fridge happened to be running empty, so she decided to go with him.

Coincidentally, the guy she dated was in the same grocery store, and upon seeing her buying groceries with her brother, he immediately began questioning who that guy is. Even after she explained that he's her younger brother, he was still doubting if she was cheating.

She was very exhausted because of the drama he brought, and asked in a WhatsApp group whether she should stop dating that guy. I said absolutely stop dating him, but there were some persons, a minority, told her it's better to try to explain to him further.

Do you think she has the obligation to explain further? I don't think so. And what are your reasons for your opinion? Please also vote "yes" or "no" in the poll.

Long story short, once upon a time I found myself involved with a lady who happened to have a husband.
One day while I was out with some of my friends, I received a call from her and I instead offered if she would like to hang with us.
She agreed, and when the night was coming to a close I asked my friends what do they think about her, noting that she is someone who likes to have fun.

I guess I misread the situation and her intent for being there, because she pulled me aside and started with "what the fuck is that supposed to mean?" and that "that's (fun) not what this is for me".
After that outburst she left, noting that she doesn't want for us to meet anymore.

Boy, was I confused.
Was the prospect of ménage à quatre simply a wake up call?
Is telling oneself that there is something more to it a common way one's ego tries to justify itself in these situations?
If it is perceived as anything more than an outlet, why remain in one's original relationship?

Before you vote, I think it’s better that you talk to multiple people at once because you can easily move on from girls that you have less in common with. For example, if you only talk to one girl, you would be kind of forced to settle and accept the differences you otherwise would not. If you talk to two girls at once, you can compare and see who is a better fit for yourself. Now, throw in multiple people at once and you get to choose the best partner possible for yourself. This is just smart in my opinion. Obviously, I only mean “talking” or “dating” and not anything serious that may be considered cheating.

He was questioning my assumption telling me that I was wrong? I said that sounds pretty high and only the scummy women actually cheat? He said that I was too naive and that's one of the reasons he stopped dating? Like wtf 😳 Also, said that women have a desire to find someone better in a relationship I think he said something about hypergammy?
