Hello! I’m curious to know what your opinion is on this often discussed topic. I often see that a girl wants a guy no shorter than 162 cm or 5’4” (my 12 year old sister is that height by the way xD) and guys want no girls taller taller than 182 cm or 6’. I would like your opinion on that matter too :D
Now, I will express my perspective. I’m a 16 year old girl standing at 173 cm which is about 5’8.25” (I use metric) and the guy I like (I’m not dating him yet) is 185 cm or 6’1”. This mean there is 12 cm between us. I think it’s a good difference because I can easily look up to him since I admire him. Honestly, the ideal height (I believe it can vary depending on how tall you are) for a guy in my opinion would be anything 182 cm and above.
What about you? What do you see as the best height difference in a couple? Also, if you feel like answering these: How tall are you? How tall would be ideal for a female/male partner?

I'm 5'8, Caucasian, somewhat thin, and I always find myself attracted to men with darker skin tones. I really think Latinos are cute, but they're always shorter than me. Today I saw this really cute guy at the store, and I really wanted to introduce myself but I thought I had no chance because he looked maybe 4 or 5 inches shorter than me and I didn't wanna bug him :/ to be honest I don't mind dating someone who's shorter than me, in fact I've done it before and I really loved the guy.

What I'm wondering is do Hispanic men on girlsaskguys mind dating a woman who's taller than them?

i think guys are lying when they say they dont mind dating a tall girl i think everyone knows that guys prefer short girls and I've decided to not date or have children because i dont want daughters who are unfeminine freaks like me i think only short girls are cute and get all the guys tall and short guys.

On dating apps and stuff I'll be honest about my height, and almost every guy who's shorter than me has asked me to give them a chance. Of course I have no problem with this, but I just worry that they're maybe using me until they find a better, shorter girl. I'm 5'8" and I feel like I'm ridiculously tall. Ok maybe not ridiculously tall, but I feel like a lot of really cute guys are more like 5'5." In fact, I even dated a guy who was 5'5."

What I'm wondering though is: do guys secretly want a guy who is shorter than them? Will they jump at the first chance of having a shorter girl? Am I just something to feel their time with until they find something better?
