I work for a very small company, about 9 people work in the office. I have my main boss, who is CEO of the company and then a vice president of the company. While the CEO comes into the office everyday, the vice president comes into the office 1-2 times a week.

Last year, when I was a month into the job, I heard something being thrown around in the next room (the vice president's office). I heard things being thrown against the wall, she was in the office with the CEO arguing, yelling, calling the company "shit", calling us the "FUCKING" customer service team, etc, etc. The walls are thin, so a lot of us heard everything.

I swept her outburst under the rug, but it really pissed me off. From that day forward, I figured out why she wasn't in the office too often. After that, I started to spend some time working with the vice president on team projects from time to time, and she always seemed to have a shitty attitude... like she was nice, but you could always tell when she didn't want to be bothered... and just last week, she came into the office and she had another outburst and you could hear things being thrown around.

Getting that pissed off in an office setting where you are representing the company... it just isn't professional.
