I have dated a few women who were quite beautiful. One looked like Suzanne Somers in her "Three's Company" days.

She was much easier to look at, but not a better girlfriend than some of the others. I have dated a few women who were on the lower end of the scale. One of them was a great match in many, many ways, but was probably what most guys would rate a 3/10. Despite that, I was very happy with her and very attracted to her, but. . . she never fell in love with me and I eventually broke up with her.

I have learned that I can love someone who is not particularly pretty and, if I am in love, I will lust for them just as much as I would lust for a Hollywood star. There are still some women whose physical appearance would be an instant turn off but I would not hesitate to date a woman who was "average" or even "below average" if I thought her other qualities were good.

How far down the scale of 1-10 would you accept if the person's other qualities were "just what you were looking for?"

So you have been going to your mother in laws place every week for dinner, you always say its amazing even when it's not.

One day when she has a new dish, you try it and it tastes disgusting, everyone else doesn't seem to blink and rates it. When your mother in law asks how the food it you say its great, then the others say "to be honest I hate it", "yeah me too, its a bit foul", "it's not perfect, I'm just going to eat some noodles". She then goes "that's fine guys, Dave hear seems to be the only one who likes my food. Dave you can have as much as you like, I will put the rest away for you to finish off over the next few weeks"
