Sometimes I message my crush via snapchat or text, and he doesn't respond right away.

Two weeks ago, I sent him a message on Snap, and even though he was on it, he didn't read it for about 20 minutes. He did ask me how classes are going and we talked for a while before he said that he is down to get coffee or something sometime soon.

Today, I sent him a condolence message after seeing that his grandma passed away and he was at her funeral. I saw him on Snapchat a few times after I sent it. He did "love" it and responded with a sweet message after about 25-30 minutes.

He always responds within 1 hour or so. I'm not sure if I am just being paranoid. Like, I get that he doesn't have to text me every waking minute. It just confuses me that he sees that I send him a message and he chooses not ignore it. It doesn't bother me that we don't have a conversation every single time (like, today, I just wanted to send my condolences. I didn't expect a conversation) I just feel ignored. Like, he couldn't have just liked my message and said thank you as soon as he saw it?

Should I take it as a hint?

I'm talking to this guy and he asked me what I consider to be an offensive question. He asked if I sent money to his friend on venmo. He swore it was me and I didn't even know his friends name. But I was questioning myself since I considered him to be a reliable source. Then I checked my venmo account and it checked out to be wrong. I confronted him about it and he made me feel I was overreacting. He apologized but avoids talking about it. Instead he makes me feel bad for bringing it up.
