I wanted to hang out with my friend that I met online (on August) she lives only 18 minutes away but everytime that I’ve tried to hang out since like October now she has always canceled and I’ve always said that it’s okay but it made me feel hurt because I just wanted a friend she cancelled again and I tried to tell her how I felt but it just ended in a disaster this is how our conversation went I’m the grey and she’s the white. I was really taken aback I was just trying to communicate with her I really didn’t think that it’d end up this way. She ended up saying that it’s okay afterwards but did I mess up really badly or did she overreact?

Back in high school I would’ve blocked her but I don't know if I should I’ve never been through such a big friendship drama before and have someone just completely manipulate the situation and act like that I’m still very shocked about it and not sure what to do anymore I no longer want to talk to her or anything

Okay so for starters, she’s a flake. But since she mentioned her grandpa is ill then i would give her a pass once but not twice. As for you, you’re a bit pushy. If her parent gives permission, thats not the same as the girl saying yes she’ll come. She just gave her parents a heads up in case she comes. Basically you both need to talk your issues over with someone else because she's too busy for you, and you’re too impatient for her.
I get home at 11 pm from work and my only free days are the weekends I was going to use one of my free days to hang out with her she works at home so she has a lot of free time
Thank you for answering though I’ve just been annoyed because she’s been saying let’s hang out and then canceling now I get it but in the beginning she was just being unclear with her answers and when I had asked her how her grandparents were she said that they were doing okay
Thats why i said she's a flake. She didn't deserve more than one chance. Just delete her contact and find a new confidant. And i work from home as well but i do not have a lot of free time. We can work up to 12 hour shifts. Our whole day is gone. We dont get to choose our own breaks nor go to the bathroom much. The only perk of being at home is that you can dress how you want. But other than that, you’re tied to one spot the whole time and can't watch tv or listen to music because you're having to talk to clients
You didn't overreact. she's overreacting because she doesn't have a good excuse for standing you up. My cousins do just like her which is why i cut them all off
I thought that I finally met someone like me like a twin flame I guess but I was wrong I was so excited too to meet her cats order pizza hang out and stuff what a bummer I really thought that we could become best friends
I think she is gooood. At shifting the blame to you. She didn't want to meet you, cancelled as she got better things to do so she put you on the backburner. I would let her to come to me. Good way to check how good of a friend she is.
Yeah she didn’t even give me her address when I asked her for it and when i asked her if she was still free on Sunday she was very vague about it she just said I don't know
