George Floyd was a long time criminal who has been to prison 9 times. He even has a past history of putting a gun to a pregnant woman's belly in an attempted robbery. Video footage shows police officers arresting Floyd after he tried to use a counterfeit 20 dollar bill. Floyd in a panic had ingested fentanyl and morphine (4x upper limit of safety levels) to avoid being in possession of drugs; the medical examiner even said if he were home alone those levels would have likely killed him. Before being touched by the officers, Floyd is stated saying many times that he cannot breath and then spends about 15 minutes wresting with officers. Keep in mind, Floyd has a history of both coronary and hypertensive heart disease and one of major early consequence of Fentanyl toxicity is pulmonary edema.

Chauvin used what was taught to him at Minnesota's police station (see below) to apprehend criminals who one consider a threat; keep in mind George was a big, muscular guy (1.93 m) who was in a state of delirium.
