Recently, when GaG started using invasive pop up video ads, many users we're vocal about how it was taking away from their user experience and pushing them towards using other apps.

I myself had a conversation with an admin about what we could do to get rid of them. The admin did a fine job of balancing my concerns as a user with GaG policy. Soon after people spoke out the invasive ads almost totally disappeared and different types of ads became more common. This was fine. We don't pay to be here so ads will be a part of the user experience.

Now that's some time has passed we are seeing an influx of the same type of annoying, invasive, loud, video ads that we did before. No more opening GaG during down time at work, when commuting, at the bar, or any other situation where you don't want a loud ad playing from your phone.

It seems they just waiting for the complaints to die down so they could steam roll ahead with this invasive, and most likely revanue-rich, marketing plan.
And admins, if you're reading this, please don't just tell us to "make more posts" so that we can go ad free. Making twenty posts in a day becomes incredibly annoying when I have pop up videos every time I open the app. When the only way is to force our selves through a shitty user experience to escape the ads, it's really no way at all.
