I seriously think we should do something to prevent this from happening. Anyway thank god for the embassy and the woman who helped her escape back home but even today she cries and lives in hiding and with new name and stuff so still horrible

So basically I recently had a birthday! Great right! Yes it was lots of family time and we brought the tequila bottles. But at the end of the night maybe around 3am shit went down. My cousin’s boyfriend/wannabe husband let’s call him T, who I get along with very well as well as with his kids which I love very much. I also love my cousin, S, so much too. So anyways story is... at 3 am I was talking to T in the basement area/ backyard area of my uncles house when he said come with me upstairs. Since his son was upstairs I went thinking again innocent bc it was my bday and I was very much in the vibes of loving family time together so I was happy. But then he brings me to the lobby area next to the front door and tries to kiss me. I naturally pulled away so he didn’t get to kiss me and went downstairs to my friend. I was shaking in shock. Then S came to me and my friend and we started to talk about other things and I noticed that T was lurking in the shadows watching me talk to my cousin. I guess he thought I would say something. Anyways now days after the party I’m going crazy thinking this happened to me. I know it’s not my fault. I don’t know Now if I should tell my cousin or not. I really want to because it was wrong and because of Girl code. I feel bad honestly for his littlest kid because he is attached to my cousin. What do you think I should do? I really love her she is older too and I know how this will affect her. I don’t even know when I would be able to say it because we only meet now in family gatherings. Usually for a reason like birthdays... hers is next week. I’m gonna end up ruining her bday.

My older cousin gave birth on April for the first time at age 36. It resulted in an emergency c-section and 4 healthy babies.
Considering her age (she got married at age 30) and history of having a difficult time getting pregnant, two past miscarriages, both her and her husband were overly happy. She thinks that was God working in her favor and listening to her cries and prayings.

My cousin and her husband have been married since 7 years (she is 35, and he is 34).

At first, I and her husband got to know each other, we texted often. Everything was well, but after a while he started acting very flirty towards me in the texts, telling me that he loves me, and I am like his little girlfriend, telling me 'Good night, lots of hugs and kisses'...

Wanting to go on a trip with only me and all that.
I would protest, 'Why do you keep flirting with me?' He would say 'I am not, it is just my deep feelings for you'.
He calls me 'Sweetheart' and 'Dear'. I told about all this to my two other cousins long ago, but didn't have courage to tell this to his wife.

Recently, he texted me again, 'Love you sweetheart, missing you'.

So, I confronted him, I told him I'll tell all this to his wife and tell her to flirt with other men!

He said he wasn't flirting with me. 'Anyone can say 'Love you' to whomever they have strong emotional bond with. It is just my pure affection for you, dear. I don't say it as if you are my girlfriend, don't take it so narrowly, take it broadly, I love very few people.'


He also told me to tell his wife he said all this to me.

Is it just affection or flirting?
