Thing is my hair is naturally wavy so, curly hair shouldn’t look so bad on me.

Maybe the Curls are too tight so do not suit. Or the hair is just straggly...

The pictures are not great. I’m sorry about that. It is grey Out so lighting is bad. Adding artificial light makes it blurry. So I can say it does look better irl. Significantly but not drastically.. Maybe about 20% better.

I have thus far shipped back:

Honey blond curly
Black curly
Straight turquoise ombré
Medium brown curly is pending, but it’s looking fairly certain.

Once again, please Do NOT be worried of hurting my feelings. I’m not posting for an ego boost. I want a realistic observation. Like what you would think but would not say if you saw me in public - good or bad. I can’t or won’t ask strangers so you are basically filing in for the silent people who would be walking by.

(Doesn’t matter and I feel dumb explaining but I’m doing it anyhow🤦‍♀️—but that bulge is not my stomach. The shorts are loose and they poof out a bit. They didn’t have my side in that color so I went up two sizes and I thought I could just put them in the dryer to make them fit. It works initially. but they get loose during the day. _Ok_no one cares. I’m neurotic I know 🤷‍♀️)

Trying to give a slightly better idea as to how they actually look on a full Person. Pictures still kind of suck. Sorry. Still sick. Feeling better and bored enough to post but can’t be bothered to take a bunch of pics. 🤷‍♀️

The hair world borrowed the term 'ombre' from the French word meaning shaded or shading. Ombre hair color is generally darker at the roots through the mid-shaft and then gradually gets lighter from the mid-shaft to the ends.

So.. Whatever I choose it will be 28 inches long ( mine was about that. I measured following the measurement guide which is from your forehead down )

Ombré : No matter the color of the body of hair, Tye color gradually changes from top to bottom. Can be any amount of shades but at least two. Sometimes people go light to dark or dark to light. In my case I will be keeping the roots dark brown, bc my natural hair color is dark brown and this way it will match my eye brows and look more realistic.. Even back when I dyed my natural hair lavender , I ALWAYS kept my roots dark.

Lace front : When the wig is sewn into nylon instead of plastic, so the part of the wig matches your own scalp.

Deep part : When the wig goes from front to back, parted like real hair, instead of the top looking “wiggy”

Not shiny: There is an incredible discrepancy between least shiny and shiniest I’ve seen... shiny bit he pretty in general but as a wig it makes the hair looks incredibly fake. You basically want to go as subdued as possible.

Other Than these above parameters , I’m really open to ANY suggestion.

So here are the current choices. I didn’t offer a brown bc it’s kind of like honey blond just darker. If people cite honey blond tyen I’ll add brown next time.

Oh lol The other day, a few had joked about going rainbow.. I did find a rainbow ombré ( colors gradually changing going down) .. actually real tic looking too. Maybe I’ll post it next time 😛

4 AM, I shaved ALL my hair OFF!! 🙊🙊😂Incidentally, feels soo good. Those of you with buzz cuts prob know the feeling. I love the release of the hair gently falling off.

Wellllll so ok thing is apparently I got lice from a kid I was Chaperoning at a shelter I was volunteering at last week.. Sweet kid. Not his fault. No hard feelings. None. ☺️

It’s really good to be ok.. Seriously , my dyed hair was a pain. I had to spend so much time conditioning it and it tangled so easily bc the natural oils were wack. I was forever battling Frizz. 🙄🙄

It really only looked presentable if I spent hours construing then gently curling it loosely. Ahd ecen tyen I couldn’t maintain it if I ran. I’m active so it was a huge pain. I had to wear it in braids or not move. And often I was too tired before I slept so I’d wake up with a birds nest. Literally.. I’d wake up to MrMr ( my parrot) Would be sitting in a pile of hair in the A M 😛

Noice how hard I’m working the “convincing myself it’s all good “ 😅😅

Well seriously it’s OK.. from now I’m going to grow it out all to it’s natural state.

Initially, I was going to just go back to dark brown , so it isn’t noticeable when it grows out..

but then I decided it’s all shaved now. No one will see anything anyhow for months.

So no... I’ll play a bit first.

Soooo just a heads up. from now on till I don't know 6 months from now, if you wHt to know if it is my REAL hair. No it is not. Not trying to pass off rainbow bright or whatever, as my own 😏😛

And yes I know you don’t HAVE to shave it. There is mayonnaise and all kinds of fancy shampoos. But I work in a fancy restaurant. I literally don’t have time to waiting for lice to disappear. It Would be mortifying if A client saw a lice 😑🤮🤮🤮 and I’m sure it’s some kind of beauty violation. If not it should be..

I have been wanting to do something with my hair for quite a while now, since my hair color is kinda plain so I wanted to ask if I should dip dye my hair or get highlights.
