In college I have been talking to a girl that I really like. At first we hung out a lot and at one point I asked her to go on a night hike with me so I could share my passion with her. she agreed. I was busy and wasn't able to go. we have been to a lot of like parties and I have seen her there. we would flirt, push a little, and she always seemed to smile when I was around and take my side on most things. One day that our friends group hung out and I happened to be in a bad mood that day so I was sort of the downer... even then I asked her if we were still going to do the hike and she said yes but nothing has happened... at this point I still feel like I had a shot but by the end of the week I found out she had asked another guy to her sororities invite... last time we saw face to face I was in a bad mood. then at one point I found out that she thought I was talking to some girl the Tuesday before this invite... I don't know if she doesn't like me that way or that lead her away. The night of the invite at midnight she texted me and talked to me about what I had been up to the previous few nights. I responded and asked that shouldn't she be attending to her date. she said she lost him. I was jealous and annoyed she was texting me so I told her I don't like being used to kill time (she responded that she just wanted to talk to me but I didn't answer for 3 days). In 3 days I told her i'd missed her wonderful presence... she responded that we should hang out. i agreed. then she bailed and told me she was busy... didn't text her for a while and invited her to play ultimate frisbee... she agreed then couldn't show... she has been blaming it on sorority stuff. on a Friday night we talked at a bench on campus and we talked life. I told her I like her (i'd told her drunk at beginning of year). I asked if she ever did and she said she likes to take her time and has never had a crush. also said she is unsure of other guy. all girls catholic school with recent first kiss
