Search Results: getting over a cheating girlfriend

okay so here's the situation.

Me and my cousin are mates with a group of lads, we've known them about a month now, apart from a couple who we've known for a few years, just not spoke to for a long time.

we'll we hang out together about 2/3 times a week. we all went camping on friday and now its all changed.

one of the guys there has made it clear to everyone we hang with he likes me and has even told me a number of times that he likes me. he even got jealous of me talking to another guy until I said it was my mates brother then he was okay and sat me down and told me he got jealous as he likes me (the first time he told me).

well on this camping trip we all kind of paired off and me and him eventually started having sex, after a few mins he stops and says he can't and then said he feels really guilty and told me he has a girlfriend. he kept saying he really likes me he just doesn't know what to do about his girlfriend. he told me that she'd cheated on him a couple times and he thinks she's cheated on him more then that. he said he couldn't use me to 'get back at her' as he likes me and doesn't want to use me (even though he basically has). we talked for ages after about this and other things and we were fine.

but the next day he suddenly decides that their leaving and so the other lads had to go to as he's the one that drives. they left us with the tent and we didn't know the directions back but they still went.

well later on we all meet up around town to go to pubs and clubs, everyones talking and getting on(even though we're mad at them we weren't going to let it ruin our night out) but he's all quiet, then on the way to the next club they all disappear as us girls had walked ahead and they don't arrive at the club we we're in for an hour, and even then they don't stay with us. well us girls decide 2 go 2 another club, my cousins talking on the phone 2 one of the guys and we head over 2 meet them, this guy talks to me for a few mins but I move to other others as he's quiet, then he all of a sudden decides there going home, and yet again as he drives the rest had to leave.

i get it as - he wanted sex, kind of got it until he decided to tell me the truth and now he's not bothered. As in, he never liked me. he kept telling me I was beautiful and if we we're together he wouldn't let me go, and everyday I should look in the mirror and tell myself I'm beautiful as he knows I don't think I am. he said this even after he came clean about his girlfriend and he kept hanging around with me.

now, what I'm wanting is your opinion on him and his feelings/actions.

is he just a player who's not interested now he's got what he wanted and wants the rest to not bother with us

or is he confused about his girlfriend, and generally does like me.

i've not long spoke 2 him as I can't find my belt and it was in his car from camping and he was like 'no I can't find it, right then bye' , and went off the phone.
