There's this guy that I met a while ago while I was shopping at the store he works at. He recommended this class to me, I went because I was interested in the class-not him (he ran it). He wouldn't accept my cash for the class, I never went back bc I got busy. It was a nice gesture.

Each time I went into the store I would keep my head down in case he was working. My brain gets mushy when I'm talking to someone attractive haha, and I assumed he was just being a nice person to me-so I didn't him to sense that I was attracted to him, I lose my cool haha.

He finds me every time haha, it's kind of embarrassing at this point for me since I'm not the one striking convo. But he is working though.

Most recent time I went in, kept my head down again lol, but he found me again! He asked what I was up to, and said I looked nice. He went back to work, found me again shortly, gave me a free coupon for the class he teaches. Let me remind you that I only went that first time, and about 7 months have passed.

I thanked him and said I would definitely take use of it. After that I again assumed he was just being a nice person to me. But later that day he liked an old Insta selfie. He's been commenting on my recent pics, nice things, not creepy.

So I'm pretty sure he is interested in me haha. It's all I've been able to think about.

The thing is... he's a bit older than me. It's ok with me since I usually date older men anyways. I'm 20 years old, I don't know his age but I'm guessing he's at least 30.

I can tell he's a gentleman. He has a nice demeanor, I don't feel intimidated by him. Sometimes men can come across a little persistant, but he's giving me that space I like... takes a while for me to warm up to people.

What if he thinks I'm older than I am? If so will he be disappointed? Maybe he senses my youth? Should I ask him how old he is (so he can ask me the same) before I ask him out?

Any advice is welcomed I know I asked a ton of questions haha, just need help with this.

So I have been crushing on this guy for 2 years and he found out. He started to be mean to me so that he could get me to stop liking him I guess. He is my bible study leader. I never ever acted on my feelings nor did I ever make him feel uncomfortable. If I like someone, I get shy and quiet and somehow he found out.

I still respected him as a person even though he kept being mean to me. He would like my photos on social media and I would like his.

Anyway, our bible study group started to grow a lot and we had to split up to make the groups smaller. A lot of people stayed in his bible study and not a lot of people wanted to go to the other mans.

He asked me to help him in bible study group sign ups which I readily agreed. Things were going fine but he wasn't talking to me throughout. At the end of the day, he told me to go to another bible study group, I became cold and started to walk off. Also a few weeks ago, he said that whenever I talk to people, they always go away. He called me and I said that what he said was uncalled for and it hurt my feelings.

He was very dismissive and apologized because... well he had to. He said that he became mean to me because he found out that I liked him and he did not want to lead me on. Which is fair enough. He said that now this is out in the open, he can be friendly with me again. I was a lady and did not act bitter with him.

Anyway, I sent him this message.

"Hey mate, hope you're well and again thanks for the chat. I think it's best if I serve God in another capacity at church therefore I am just giving you a heads up to find someone new to do the next few weeks of sign ups. I want to give you space and I need space too and I don't want you to think of anything regarding me liking you. I thought I would tell you now to give you time. Much love and respect bro and see you soon".
