There are a lot of people who say that women should be obedient to their partners, but I personally think it should be mutual. By that I mean, a person should obey their partner if their partner doesn't want them to do something that could potentially harm the partner.

For example, since alcohol can lead to domestic violence (which would obviously harm the partner), a person should obey their partner if the partner doesn't want them to drink excessively. This is mutual. It has nothing to do with gender, but rather, keeping in mind the safety of one's partner.

Admittedly, in a hetero relationship, there may be certain scenarios in which the man has more of a right to forbid something than a woman would. For example, men are generally expected to act as protectors for their partners, so it'd be more justified to a man to want to forbid his partner from going to a dangerous place (since, if something happens, he'll be endangered by being expected to protect).

Of course, none of these "prohibitions" should be by force. It's just ideal that they should be obeyed, and if not, the person is free to just exit the relationship if they're not willing to create a reality in which their partner is safe.

Some men are shallow, have high expectations, ideals and are delusional. Others are less shallow and live in reality. Regardless every man has a different opinion of what a "big woman" is. I overheard a man calling a woman "Big" and she weighed about 145 pounds which that sounds obsurd to me. Every woman can't weigh 100-120 pounds depending on her body type, shape and structure. When I think of big women I'm thinking 180 pounds and up honestly.
