I was "seeing" this guy for 3 months, we went to a park (due to covid) he did buy me food once and I bought him coffee, we always ended upmaking out and other things whenever we saw each other. We would video call for a couple hours, texted every day. He told his friend and his dad about me. A week before he ended things he told someone close to him that he was going to see his girl etc (while he was drunk) and showed pictures of me to them. Called me his girl but wouldn't put a label on us. In the beginning he didn't want anyone knowing about him. He was new to all of this, I was the first girl he attempted to have a "relationship" with. Commitment seemed like he was afraid of on top of a "pregnancy scare" we had. He told me he likes the company and likes me and just had a deep conversation about us. Whenever I was upset he would want to talk on the phone about what was upsetting me no matter how late it was.

I have been talking to this guy for a few months and in my life not a lot has been going on. We have a lot in common and we seem to have a genuine connection , i like him and i think about him majority of the day. We had a few hiccups along the way and there was one thing that happened that still makes me feel guarded. I want to take the relationship really slow because i don't want the same thing to happen in my last relationship that still burns a bit. I'm kind of afraid to tell more people about my relationship with this guy and rush things. I feel more "on" with this guy then i did with my ex. I was blinded in my last relationship so i want to be cautious but enjoy the moment.

Also we met briefly twice socially distance and it was good i was excited and happy to see him but all these other thoughts were going through my head. I just don't know if its my fear or if its just me being lonely.

We both compliment each other and i feel somewhat comfortable with him , we both don't give up so easily. He makes me happy and exciting and nervous sometimes. We both feel the same way about each other i just have this weird feeling in me and i can't seem to shake it.

Im not referring to calls/texts but things like in person visits... And please answer what it would be ideally if you’re single atm. Personally, Im not afraid of commitment but i kinda like the space thing. I noticed in past relationships, i probably did better in LDRs. We prob saw eachother in person for a few days every 3-6 months. However when dating those I already knew in person, they wanted to see eachother daily. I thought i’d like that since i loved talking otp daily but i didn't. I barely ever had time to do things i needed to do. So ideally, i think i’d prefer to just see the guy twice a week (mainly on weekends) if already in person and maybe once a month if in an ldr (and until i get engaged to that person so that we can live together). Is that bad? What do you prefer for yourself?

So this guy and i had an open and honest conversation and we agree just to be friends since he wants a friends with benefits and we both just got out of a relationship not too long ago. He said sometimes he's afraid of commitment. Im not really looking for something casual.. he complimented me saying i was irristable and cute etc and said that girls would hang up by now. he's a sarcastic guy.

He has complimented me a few times too. He told me before the talk he likes me and really likes talking to me. He has had a handfull of friends with benefits and would do what we do with other girls. He said its rare to find people like me on the app we met on and how not many people respond to him. He also said we would build up chemisty or have chemistry (can't remember)

We haven't been talking long either
