MBTI, also known as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, in short was created to deduct a persons psychological type, or as some would say their 'personality type'. There are 16 MBTI types that hold 4 key letters in their name that differentiates them from other types. The letters are based on one's psychological traits being:

In this poll, I'm curious to know how many people take MBTI seriously. I know some are against the thought of it and think it's nonsense. I've seen a few people question its authenticity and compare it with horoscopes. While some enjoy the idea of it and think it does have considerable information behind it.

I personally believe in MBTI to a certain extent. I think it does have some credible information associated with it and I find myself interested in the purpose of it. I don't like to think of MBTI as a procedure to see what someone's 'personality type' is however. I like to see it as a way to find one's 'thinking type'.
