I worked hard but I never managed to get the grades in order to take over my parents business.

This has had quite a big impact on me because I could have had it all, I constantly feel depressed and unmotivated by it because I had a ready made business that I could have expanded.

It's a huge deep regret because if I worked harder I could have achieved it.
Im currently doing an engineering degree which I enjoy, but it's made me feel so upset because I really fucked up. It's really depressed me and I constantly feel inferior to everyone for some reason.
I feel like a failure because of my situation.

Short Version:
My ex roommate (lets call her sandy) fucked me and my girlfriend over money wise by not paying rent. I had to end up paying my girlfriend and some of sandys part so my girlfriend dont get an eviction record. She's indirectly trying to be cool with me again.

Detailed version:
Sandy left out of state for a month and rent was coming up. That month me and my girlfriend paid first. left it at that. 2 days before rents due date, Sandy decides to text my girlfriend and tell her that there is a remaining balance of 173 that has to be paid. Me and my girlfriend already paid our part so we told her thats her problem. She tried to blame us saying that thats the part we didn't pay when I had evidence that me and my girl paid our entire portion. I told her I refuse to pay her part. A day after rent was due, she still hasn't paid it and we get an eviction notice. So now on top of the 173, we have a late fee making the total 274 that has to be paid. Sandy still refused to pay it. I wasn't on the lease, but I was living there, helping my girlfriend out with rent cuz she lost her job. Sandys excuse was rent is split 3 ways when she knows damn well I was only to help my girlfriend out. Me not wanting my girlfriend to have an eviction record cuz of that b****, I decided to pay everything. I told sandy she owes me 274, then tried to blame my girlfriend and tell me she owes me the money. I got furious. Shit basically escalated from there. Me and my girlfriend mad about how she was acting, through all her shit out of her room and moved in, I sent her videos calling out her bs and everything I was upset with, she got parents involved (I'm 21. We are adults. Who the fuck calls their mommy?), etc. I've since moved out. My girl forgives her, but I still have bad blood with her. Especially since she basically stole my money and got my mother involved, which for personal reasons, that was crossing the line. Don't bring my mother into shit. Now since her and my girl are friends again, she's indirectly trying to be cool with me.
