This guy I dated for 3 months recently popped back up into my life after a 6 month haitus. He asked me to be his valentine, only to tell me he was joking. To which I replied rudely... he then went on to tell me he will “shout me” if he’s in my area” (British slang for hit me up). I then went on to say “no thanks” and accused him of only wanting sex, to which he said “no bad intentions, just wanted to holla you if I’m in the area” .. what do you think his motives are: should I go?

There's this white guy who lives a few streets down from me. We met when I took my little sister to the park and he was smoking or whatever with his friends. He was too shy to approach me, so he sent one of his friends. We've started texting and he's one of those... I can't explain it. He's not a loner, but he's one of those wear a hoodie all day and talk to no one but his small group of friends, types lol. He told me about himself or whatever and his family didn't grow up with much money, he goes to the park with his friends and smokes to "take a break from life" stuff like that. I really liked him. We started hanging out in person and he just started acting like a WIGGER. Just plain RATCHET 😂 He started pretending that he liked rap music when I know he listens to that techno stuff, he started using "black" slang words, basically trying to act like the stereotypical black person. I asked him why he is all of a sudden acting like this and he says because he wants me to like him. I have no idea why he thinks this would make me like him when I'm nothing like the stereotype. I don't speak in Ebonics, listen to trap music and smoke weed all day, but I definitely do NOT speak in a valley girl accent, hang around white people or chase white guys around all day either 😂 I'm just normal. I don't know how to feel about this 😂

A. K. A. slang, ghetto talk. Personally as a girl livin in the hood, I LOVE talking like this. My white friends at school complain that they don't understand what I'm sayin tho. (Even though I just say wazzup dude) and an online German friend tells me not to type with them in group chats, to just use proper English for non native speakers. (When I used the word fam). I do have a high vocabulary and can talk very formally, but with friends I prefer not to.
What do you guys think? I think it shows your culture, where you're from, what you've been through and the amazing community you've experienced. It's just like another accent to me.
