I can't cook well. Then again, I haven't lived somewhere with a real kitchen in a very long time. This is the "kitchen" of current sh*thole room my new job just had me move me into (and I had to buy the f*cking microwave myself for $100). This bullsh*t-ass fake "fridge" is so small, it can't even hold actual food in it; just leftover take-out.

But even when I did live alone and had a somewhat-kitchen, I really disliked cooking my own food. It tastes like crap, I never get any better at it, I hate doing dishes, and I'm impatient at waiting 30-60 minutes when I'm hungry now. Not to mention, I work until 10pm, and have to walk twenty minutes to work by foot, and often too tired to cook when I get home.

It's not that I'm "too dumb" or immature to cook; I just seriously hate doing it. But I know other people think cooking is an adult requirement or something; like it's mandatory to be a chef in order to be mature and independent, or something. What do you think? (Please keep the comment civil.)

Been seeing a girl for a month. She's been very aggressive saying that she likes me. I saw that she had a 2021 journal and she showed me that one of her "goals" was to be in a relationship with me. Yes. We've been having sex and spending a lot of time with one another. Making meals together and for each other. Etc.

I am a musician. I have a band. One time when she was in my apartment I played her a song that I recently wrote and she started crying. Anyways...a few weeks later I told her that I wrote a song for her. When she was in my apartment I offered to play it for her. She refused to allow me to play it. She said that she gets too emotional and she didn't want to hear it. I also am a writer and i had a story published. I told her about it and sent her a link to the short story. As far as I know she has never read the story and never even brought it up. Is all of this a red flag?

First, I don't necessarily agree with his assessment of himself but I've learned not to argue with people about such things. I think he is the kind of guy who is the salt of the earth, who will one day be an excellent husband and father, the kind of guy that a girl will be married to for 58 years until the day he or she dies, and they will make beautiful nerd babies together. But he obviously feels like a square peg in a round hole world and that is a heavy burden!

Anyway. . . do you consider yourself to be one of those nerdy, introverted, socially awkward, eccentric weirdo girls who would be interested in a guy who thinks the same of himself, or do you know of someone else who would date a guy who fits the nerd profile? Even if you are not the quintessential nerd girl, would you date such a guy? Where should my friend look for girls who potentially would be receptive to his romantic interest?

l feel like that's me. I should be 6'5" like Dwayne Johnson, but instead I'm dwarf AF. There are women abundantly my height and taller. I feel like everyone always goes "I thought you'd be taller in person" with a tone of slight shock and disappointment. (Sigh) I hate being short.
