Yes, there's a whole bunch of [bratty, superficial, entitled, short] girls/women out there who are now insisting, regardless of their own height, on 6' and over. But you know what? Fuck 'em. And to answer your question... yes, I am often surprised at how short many successful Hollywood actors are, especially the females. But that's the amazing magic of film, isn't it. They know all the angles and tricks.
1. The worldwide average for men is technically 5'8"/1.73 m, and 5'9.5"/1.76 m in the Western world. 2. It doesn't matter anyway; who TF wants to be mediocre or a D- in anything as a person? "Average" is an incredibly sh*tty metric to go by. 3. People (especially the majority of women) basically judge people by "good enough" or "trash/sh*t." Saying "it's a shallowness filter" is something only a woman could get away with saying; because you have endless options for dating. As a man, if you're even close to mediocre/unattractive, that's basically it for your chances of a relationship. ... Unless you become rich/successful/famous. That's how it's always been and it's even worse in 2020. In other words; even tall, attractive men struggle to find someone. The women part doesn't have anything to my height, anyway (although none of them want men my height; unless they're short themselves; like 5'3" or under). I just HATE being so much f*cking smaller than every single guy I know and a crap ton of women. I don't think women can understand what it's like for a guy to be considered smaller (thus, weaker) than so many women out there. Women wouldn't care about physical size, strength, power, or any of that, which is why short women aren't an issue for them, for the most part. And yeah, I know it doesn't mean short men are literally weaker than the women same size or bigger than them, but that's the assumption and expectation, isn't it? I could spend forever lifting weights at the gym, only to be called "shorty, manlet," etc, by some chick I meet off of Tinder or something. That SUCKS. But again, like I said, it sucks regardless of modern women's shallowness.

This site is global so I use global stats, as much as possible. Yes, sure, Western stats are different. But I know what country you're in and it's not in the West so it is pertinent to you.
Who wants to be average/mediocre? Well no one, of course, but we don't all get what we want, do we? I want to be lots of all sorts of things, as everyone does, but we deal with what we have, and we try to become better in ways that we can. Everyone has deficits and downfalls. That's life. Would you rather have a great bod and a shit brain? Or some physical disability you were born with, so you can't walk and are confined to a chair or stuck in the house forever?
It's a matter of priorities. It's absolutely not true that 96% of straight Western women will refuse men based on height. They PREFER a man who is of a certain height, yes (and that height varies based on their own heights, etc.) Females' decisions on who they want to be with is more than just the classic looks, status, money. Give them more credit than that.
I married a man my own height. My exact height. Which I would not have preferred. Of course not. I am like all women, who want a man taller than myself. But I did not choose my life partner based on superficialities. So don't you presume to chastise me for my choices. You know little about me. And I resent it very much. I am 5'6", which I do not consider tall. Yes, I am taller than average females, globally, but so what. I dated multiple men who would be considered short, by some standards. But who gives a fuck about them. I make my own choices. I am with people for their personalities, their character, and the dynamic between us.
You have a habit of quantifying things and being very binary. If you want my feedback and support and me to answer your invite questions, you can't throw it back at me and argue against every point. I will simply stop interacting, and it won't be based on your height or how you look. It will be based on a disagreeable personality.
Oh, and I have made these opinions public on here many times, and berated the shallow ones in the process, but honestly I'm tired of this debate now. Many people defended their attitudes with "you can't help who you are attracted to" which is a lame justification. The problem would be solved if all the short girls of the world went with short guys of the world. A few inches taller than them, even if they are shorter than avg height. But no, they aren't going to do that. Meanwhile, I have happily snapped up the great guys when we were in our 20s, "short" or not. Yes, that's why I've taken up stoicism. To let go of the things I used to want. Like women; muscles, instant respect (that comes from being tall), society's validation, etc. I kinda don't care anymore about that. But the one thing that still irks me is being smaller than everyone I know/knew.

Not really. Confidence, height, and social status is needed to get you in the door. For them to show any kind of romantic interest in you whatsoever. At least two out of the three things. It may not keep a woman, but without it, she won't even develop any attraction to you. ... Most of the time. I don't have any data on how often that exception occurs, but I assure you, it's the exception and not the rule. Also, like I said; who the hell wants to be some woman's pity-f*ck once she turns 40? Get that sh*t outta here! I don't think it's entitled or picky of me to want someone to actually LOVE me, rather than being with someone who just looked around, saw no other single men left, and said "Guess you're it, then."

So you're slightly more forgiving than younger women nowadays. Your profile says you're 47. Most Western women under 35 are WAY more entitled than women of your generation were. Blame Tinder, Twitter, and fourth-wave feminism for creating a generation of c*nts. (Not to say Millennial men aren't mostly awful, too.)
Also, I'm going by an answer you gave about 4-5 weeks ago to a question I posted on here. Not by any "assumptions." Me paraphrasing, you said something like you didn't want short men, or men under a certain height. So I don't see how that conflicts with what you're now saying, other than implying you wouldn't have chosen your husband had a tall man with his qualities came along.
I do not mean to be rude. Sorry if it seems that way. Your statements just seem very contradictory. You imply one shouldn't care about what women think (which I agree), but then say you are just like any other woman and have traits you want/expect in men. So are you basically telling us "forget women" then? (I mean, I wouldn't disagree.) I just don't understand your contradictory (to me) points.
And as I said, I don't care about women anymore. I've stopped pursing them. It's wasted efforts. I hate being my size because I hate being physically small and weak (or at least, *appearing* that way to every other Western man). Being in the 64th percentile of Western height is irrelevant because a 64 on a test is still an F. And 36% of all men being bigger than you is a HUGE number of men!

5'3 isn't short for a woman, the average is 5'4. Thats not really "tiny." If the average height for woman was like 5'11 then yeah it would be but its literally an inch below average height
@aq121 Just because something is the "average" doesn't make it acceptable/okay. It's SO annoying so many people make this false equivalency. That's like saying "the average IQ for people in this one village is 85, so they're all of standard intelligence." No, that's not how it works. Anything under 5'7"/1.70 m is short for the female optimal, because that is how tall human women are genetically *supposed* to be. And it's 6'0.5"/1.84 m for men. The problem is, most of the world has poor health and nutrition and pretty much everyone outside of northern Europe are short AF because of it. In other words, 5'3" is objectively short on a woman, and if raised in optimal/ideal living conditions with ideal healthy parents, the typical woman would be no less than 5'7" (which I personally don't even consider that tall). And as I said, all men under six feet are genetically short/inferior as well. Only Scandinavia and the Dutch have idealized health in the world at this point in 2020, but maybe some day, we'll all catch up to them.
