Not secret but some things I learned from having terrible acne as a kid was:

Dairy will make you break out. If nothing is working, cut dairy for a week.

Drying your face with harsh chemicals is rarely the answer, cutting sugar and light exercise for me at least, have worked better.

Sex clears your face up.

Sun and dry/oily skin don't mix as well as you probably think. Don't think sun bathing for hours is necessairly going to clear your whiteheads.

Clindamycin works good, get that from your dermatologist. It won't work as good when it passes the date on the bottle but it still better than what you can get in the store years after. I didn't have much money for a doctor so I bought all the prescription I could and kept asking for refills. I still have 3 or 4 left from nearly 6 years ago. I use them for emergencies.

wash in warm with daily facial cleanser. Rinse in cold.

Daily alchol free moisturizer.

When I get home from work, I wash my face in cold water.

Before bed, swab my face, neck, and behind my ears with witch hazel.

Sunscreen if I'll be in the sun.

Staying hydrated.

Getting enough vitamin E in my diet

no smoking

Double cleansing with oil cleanser and sunscreen changed everything… Not really a secret, but I think people underestimate sunscreen and don’t realize you have to double cleanse to really get it off.

My skin really got better once I started using an oil cleanser/double cleansing. Also being consistent with your skincare is important too.

Not a secret at all.

Wash face with hands daily at the end of shower.

Every few days I get a freshly cleaned towel, add soap and exfoliate (scrub) my face. Dry with a freshly cleaned towel. Add witch hazel to a cleaning pad and scrub. Finally add light layer of coconut oil to face to protect and moisturize.

Key points are exfoliate, use an stringent, use a moisturizer only touch face with clean towels. Also don't touch you face with oily hands.

I just listen to Dr. Berg who says you need fat to have a skin that looks youthful. Also he said you can make biotin by combining yogurt with fruit so I take plain yogurt and chop up some fruit every day and mix it together.

I honestly don't do much, a face cleanser and I don't really touch my face otherwise. I never had issues with acne as a teen so that helped too.
