Girls, Ladies, do you sit on public toilets?

I usually wipe and put a seat cover or toilet paper around the toilet. Every time I tried hovering I ended up either peeing on myself or on the floor I also heard you can get UTIs from hovering while peeing.

I usually do but take double precautions. I buy those disposable toilet covers and underneath it, I place some toilet paper after I disinfected the toilet lid. I then wash my hands thoroughly before doing my business.

That way, I take a maximum of protections from UTIs because, honestly, some of those toilets are more than just disgusting, even the ladies washroom.

I am very health conscious and if I have the feeling that, despite the precautions I take, it still disgusts me, then I will simply not use those washrooms.

The thought that hundreds of people use the same toilet every day is disgusting even if you know the toilet is regularly cleaned.

Yes, that is so true but sometimes you just have to go and are limited with your choice. I am glad to hear that you are also very conscious of your health in this respect.

I totally understand and holding your pee is also not a good option as you can get health complications from it. I was just curious as this is not something people usually talk about.

There is no right way to do it. This is one of the only time I do envy guys when they have to urinate. Just flip it out, do your business, shake it a little and tuck it back in. Job done. We have it substantially harder :-)

I refuse to sit on a public potty. I hover and never had a problem with it.

Guys do sit on the public toilets and don't even think about it.

I try to avoid it, but I’m short and some toilets are too high up for me to hover. But for the most part, I do hover and don’t have any issues. If I can’t hover then I cover the seat in toilet paper.

I don’t go into public toilet and I’m thankful that I work from home. If I was desperate enough, I will not sit. But I always wipe seats down with alcohol wipes. Not because I don’t trust the seat but much rather the person who sat before me.

Crouch over. started holding a folded seat cover at an angle just so I don't have to experience public splash-back.
