Nope. For example I was diving down a residential road this morning at 20 mph. I saw two kids and a dog which was unleashed playing in the street so I slowed to a stop probably 50 or 60 feet from them so the children could get out of the road and the people could get their dog safety into the yard. I waved politely to the mover as she grabbed one of her children by the hand as a neighborly thing to do. Then the father who happened to be Black yelled at me as I drove by, "You better drive more carefully around here". Clearly the N**** lacks mental capacity, common decency and curtsy. He doesn't know he's a bat shit crazy animal that is unable to live around other people.
Generally smart people think they are dumber than they are as such will rate themselves lower. Meanwhile stupid people will they are smart and will rate themselves higher. A crazy person is no different. Adolf hitler thought what he was doing was right. Everyone else says he was wrong but self perception is a weird thing. Once justified most actions can be accomplished regardless of if others view it as right or wrong. Smart or dumb, crazy or not crazy. The only view that effects your choices is your view
@jacobjordan. Agreed. Incidentally, Adolf Hitler had untreated and advanced Parkinson's disease.
Some people that have done drugs like meth for years end up crazy.
But you can also be a genius and be crazy.
No. They’re usually unaware of it and believe their own lies and that they’re innocent.
@strawberrybaby3 may I ask you for some advice? dm me if itso kay?

I did emergency psychiatric evaluations for five years before I went to law school, so I have great experience with crazy people (as well as a few who crept into my life as poor dating choices.) No, most people are not aware of their psychoses and their delusions are quite real to them.
Nope. Self awareness doesn’t occur with people who are seriously mentally ill, otherwise they’d seek treatment.
I’ve been to psychiatrists and therapists, but still wonder about my mindset.
You’re not crazy, you’re too self aware to be.
Thanks

I think most are totally aware of it. They might not understand it, and might not know the degree of craziness, but they know something is wrong.
The expression is crazy people don’t know they are crazy if you are questioning your sanity than you probably are sane i as weird as it sounds
probably not but isn't this part of catch 22? if a crazy person knows they're crazy, it means they're sane?
And WHO specifies what is 'crazy'?
Perhaps it's just being non-conformist, or excentrical :)
Good question. I have no idea. I hope I'm not crazy and just don't realise it.
Judging from what I see and read online, absolutely not.
no not really
most of em lack self-awareness
When they get older amd wiser. The crazy part is when they understand they aren't crazy they are the wise minority. The truly crazy are the brain washed swineish multitude
If they're truly crazy, then by definition, they would not know they were crazy.
Women in general are crazy and’s not in a good way and I doubt they know it
I doubt it usually crazy people aren’t self aware about their insanity.
A crazy person always knows that they are sane. That's why crazy people can be committed against their will.
Depends. Crazy isn't a term. Personality disorders, like schizophrenia have some people that know and dont know.
No. If a person thinks they are crazy then they aren't actually crazy as actual crazy people don't know they are crazy.
LOL I don't know no one ever asked me that before.
A real crazy person usually does not know or think they are crazy
They always have a plan.
Crazy people never know they’re crazy.
Some are vaguely aware… some aren’t.
Usually they don't know.
Not unless the voices tell them they are.
You're fine Patrick Bateman lol 🦇 ♂️
No. They think others are crazy.
Depends on what type of mental illness tbh
no that's why they are crazy
Most dont
Definitely maybe. 🤔
