In my opinion, men should be able to opt out of parenthood (not be finically or physically responsible), but should be limited to when the child isn't born or right after it's born. I included right after born, cause A: if a woman doesn't get an abortion she can still opt out of parenthood by putting the child up for adoption and B some men don't find out they got a kid till after it's born.

In today's system as more people are incarcerated because of their nonviolent offenses, whether it's either drug crimes from African Americans, performing safe abortions from doctors and women, or even innocent victims that didn't really commit a crime, it throws me off the wall that they lost their right to vote to help America move forward for further generations to come. I believe that all prisoners, and yes, even those who have committed violent offenses, should have the right to vote because they are citizens just like we are and they deserve the right to vote no matter what. Voting affects all of our lives, and if turnout is low, especially in further elections, then the few percent of people have control over our government to where they only represent them over their own issues and nobody else over others such as raising the minimum wage, making housing become affordable, letting healthcare to be free and easily accessible for everyone without the need for insurance, lowering prescription drug prices, decriminalizing and legalizing marijuana or safe and legal abortions, and offering tuition-free colleges and getting graduates out of student loan debt. This is why voting matters because of our sake for democracy for not only our lives but for future generations of our children and grandchildren, and this is why everybody including prisoners should have the right to vote. Before you label me a "fence-sitter" or "centrist"(which I'm not), hear me out on this. With the whole talk about the recent Abortion Law that was passed in Texas, I honestly can't say what my stance is because, on one hand, I don't believe men and women should just irresponsibly have unprotected sex and the woman carelessly gets impregnated and plus if man shared some of his seeds for the impregnation, then he also should have a bit of a say, therefore, both the man and woman should always communicate before the woman decided to take the abortion route. On the other hand, I've spoken to a lot of women who are willing to have a civilized discussion about this, telling me that there's realistically no way of them knowing if they're actually pregnant within the 6-week time period and abortion isn't something they themselves even get excited of but still see it as a necessity to prevent unwanted pregnancies or give unwanted children miserable lives.

My honest take on abortion, in general, seems rather very complex and something I can't give a solid opinion on.
