I have a dinner date set up for this weekend with a gentleman who I met online. My friend thinks I should get all dolled up with dresses, high heels and a whole face full of makeup but I’m perfectly fine wearing boots, jeans, a sweater in minimal makeup with some pretty earrings. Truth is, we’re just doing Panera Bread so definitely nothing fancy and I want him to see the real, natural me before the prettied up version. My friend on the other hand thinks that the reason why I’m still single is because I don’t get made up or dressed up for men. What are your thoughts?

So I've had a bit of a crush on a guy friend for a while and I think (or at least thought) he kind of likes me too. Right now it's very early days but I was telling one of my best friends about it and she pointed out that I'm taller than him and said it would be weird if we dated. Now I'm just over 5'8 which is not huge but pretty tall for a girl, and he's just under 5'8. I honestly hadn't really noticed until she pointed it out since I know him from school and I'm used to seeing him when I'm slouched over with a heavy school bag on my back, but now I'm worrying he'll have an issue with it too. It's not really very noticeable unless I'm wearing heels but I love heels and as an ex-short person (I was 5 foot nothing until I was 16) I love being tall and being able to see over heads in a crowd is still a bit of a novelty for me. I've kind of come into my own in the last year a bit (I grew eight inches and have boobs now) but I've liked this guy since before that and in my head he's still taller than me... I guess I was wondering if there's any point hoping it wouldn't be an issue for him? How would you feel about dating a girl taller than you? Especially if she was unwilling to give up high heels? I know I should probably just ask directly and try and be subtle but I've been told in the past I'm about as subtle as a rampaging elephant and I'm kind of shy and scared of rejection. I guess I was just wondering how would most guys feel about this?

I often get told I don't dress feminine enough and that guys don't like girls who dress like me. Even when I'm wearing dresses and skirts. Wondering what y'all think. I won't change the way I dress or anything, just want to know what you think.

Style 1: trousers + loose top or oversized hoodie + flat shoes.

Style 2: Shorts + sheer tights + knee high socks + flat shoes or heeled boots

Style 3: Mini skirt or dress + knee high socks or tights

In mine it is in most places. In some gyms I feel exposed just wearing high waisted leggings and a crop top. There are a few where I see more women in sports bras or crop tops, but in most it certainly is rare.
Honestly, really long tops can be quite annoying at times, especially if you are sweating a lot during that exercise. Or they get in the way during some exercises.

I was at a shoe store earlier on and I saw these shoes I fell in love with. It came in 2 kinds of black the one picture above with some lace on it and the other type is a complete leather shoe also in black but it is the same same shoe only in leather. I had not bought them.

Im a lady who has never worn high heels shoes ever in my life not when I was younger not at my current age, like the one in the picture ever ever in my life I had boought shoes like that so high with that heel or that platform. For me walking on those heels are dangerous as you may fall and break your foot and harm your feet something indeed I want to avoid If I fall that is why Im not used to wearing high heels and also because your feet ended up in pain if you wear them long hours, I was never used to wear those heels not even when attending social events I always went to social events or parties with flats or some kin of shoe with a low heel never high the reason I dont own high heels shoes. With these particular pair I felt in love with them today because it was the first time ever in my life I was able to walk in high heel shoes of that caliber without any discomfort, the the part of the platform tht steps on the floor is made of rubber so it won't slip, then the height of the platform make the shoe a bit comfortable in order to balance the high heel so I did not feel any pain by walking it. Now my sister advice me not to buy them because it is dangerous to walk on those shoes but also she told me "Those shoes visually look like stripper shoes, so it is better you won't buy them" Then my brother told me well the shoes are so so if you buy them better the leather counterpart it looks more office type but then again those shoes do not go with your style, as you are a person that never have have that style, I know you and also indeed they look like a bif of stripper shoes".
