Why a guy always put on the music Careless Whisper during video call?

I meet this guy in the Disco bar he is actually gentleman as he catches me saving from the accident that was about to happened to me, I just steep on the bottle of beer that was laying on the floor as I walked back to my friends table and I was wearing 2 1/2 inches high heels I was frightened thinking yup accident do happened 🙄then this guy just drop his glass of wine just to catch me from falling into the floor. I was thankful after that we exchange numbers and we talked over phone just casual talks its been like 3 weeks now we communicate everyday but this past few days he plays music background the song in titled careless whisper 🤭

By the way he is Turkish so any Turks here please helped understand this also he can't communicate properly most of the time we just watching and listening each other via video call 😂😂😂

I'm a turkish guy living in Bodrum, southwestern coastal region. I have en interesting memory with this song at a fish & rakı night, a few months earlier, with friends (with children)

When everybody stayed silent in a moment, we heard this song playing at the background for a few seconds.

One of the children (10 yo boy) left his ipad and sad "you are always playing sex songs..."

Yes many countries are stuck in the 80s the 80s was well known for love songs just YouTube 80s love songs and you'll see. Ok the fact that he has chosen to play this love/heart break song in the back ground several times leads me to believe he's done this before and believes playing this song will make it romantic and subconsciously make you fall for him think about it hero sweeps in from a foreign land romantic music plays in the background but still seperated by a language barrier sounds a little i don't know but i really dont know the man it may just be coincidence

Hahaha thanks I don't worry really he didn't do anything he just sometimes laying on bed. With clothes on and talking a bit playing music with his guitar sometimes that funny looking like a guitar and play the song again careless whisper 😆😆😆

Careless whisper was a huge romantic hit to the point it reached eastern people as well, and we didn't really have other romantic English songs to flaunt our love with, so it was a big and modern display of affection back in the 90s and early 2000s
