Search Results: am i analyzing it too much

Yes I know it’s silly and maybe it’s just me, but I think it’s a bit on the lazy side and rude. I’ve been dating this guy and everything has been going great. He’s always has a unique way of saying good morning to me but this morning he sent me a dry “GM” so I’m like okay is this thing coming to a screeching halt or what. What are your thoughts on this, am I analyzing this too much? Do you think it’s rude not to spell it out, yes or no?

So, I went to see my crush's band play at a local venue with a group of friends, and the band and us went to eat at Denny's together at like midnight. Throughout the night, I kinda picked up on some behaviors of his I'd like you to quickly analyze.

1.) While they were playing, he'd talk or yell to the crowd and always steal a glance at me.

2.) After they finished, we went to the front of the stage to talk to my crush (who's the lead singer) and he kept looking down at me as opposed to my friends who were talking to him.

3.) I'm introverted, so when the conversation finally died down between all of us after the show and he and I were kinda awkwardly next to each other, he asked me what I thought about their performance. I, of course, said that I thought it was great and that I loved all their songs. He replied with an awkward thanks, and our conversation was interrupted by my other friends...

4.) I got the courage to give him a light hug from the side and said "see ya later (his name)." He put his arm around me lightly and replied "Aw thanks for coming."

I don't know it's not much and I was hoping to be more flirtatious and courageous tonight but it didn't quite work out. I have a huge crush on him, and he's the type that's very gregarious and friendly, yet with a little awkwardness about him too. I have trouble interpreting flirty stuff from him just being extroverted to me, an socially awkward introvert.

How can I step things up with him?

I Over Analyze a lot , and I'm Insecure, I admit this... I will list a few things about my relationship, because I really need you to help me and feel better about myself and my relationship...

- We live 1 hour away from each other, but we see each other quiet often
- We are together since 2 and a half years (we're both around 26 years old)
- He sends me every single day good morning and goodnight texts and he calls almost every evening
- He introduced me to his whole family and friends, and he respects my family a lot
- He does tell me he loves me
- Sometimes, he ignores my texts and texts me later, even if i confront him about things
- He sometimes does not want to clear things out, and I always have to take the first step to do it
- He does compliment me, and says he is proud of me, but sometimes he does criticize me about my way of acting or about my Ideas
- He does not always say that he misses me, unless I ask him...
- He said a few times that he sees a future with us
- He always apologizes when he does something wrong,
- He doesn't like me to use his phone
- He does not show me that he loves me, or maybe I am not seeing it or I am demanding too much attention...
- he has a hard time showing his emotions and what he feels about me
- He always tells me where he goes
- sometimes i have a feeling he doesn't love me, and when i tell him this, he doesn't really TRY HARD ENOUGH to convince me and gives me BOLD answers... and very short (through text )
- He does care a lot about anniversaries, birthdays and valentines day and does everything to surprise me.
I just need you guys to tell me if this relationship seems at least OK, and I will feel better since I didn't really never talked to somebody about this... and this will help me a lot. And then I will work on myself, but I need this confirmation, and I'm sure this will help me.
