GM vs Good Morning... thoughts?

Yes I know it’s silly and maybe it’s just me, but I think it’s a bit on the lazy side and rude. I’ve been dating this guy and everything has been going great. He’s always has a unique way of saying good morning to me but this morning he sent me a dry “GM” so I’m like okay is this thing coming to a screeching halt or what. What are your thoughts on this, am I analyzing this too much? Do you think it’s rude not to spell it out, yes or no?

I've never ever ever ever heard of someone using "GM" as a substitute for "good morning" but yes, I completely agree with you. Unless he did something hugely useful with those 2 seconds he saved

It's not a big deal. People wake up tired. at least you get a GM and someone that wants to talk to you.

Its rude because i think saying Good morning by txting full is like expressing love and gratitude and a dry GM is so dude i think he is upset or sad or not interested to talk so i prefer my boy to text Good morning

It's not
