Toyota. My first vehicle was a 10 year old toyota truck. I bought it with my baby sitting money. Dad is now using it as an old ranch truck. It has over 300,000 miles on it. It's like 2000 model I think.

I have been GMC/Chevy person for the last 5-6 trucks. I'm thinking my next vehicle may be a Toyota though.

Used if first car and Toyota has better maintenance records. 19 is too young for car payment if it can be avoided. You have to run the Margins.

Chevy is just terrible and so is their customer service at dealerships/maintenance …. Just awful Toyota is crap too lol

The real question is: Mercedes or BMW? Ferrari or Porsche?

Depends on if we are talking cars or pickup trucks. Chevy trucks are superior but Toyota cars are usually much better.

I always buy American. I have owned a couple of Chevys.

Old Chevy before 1984 any day. Anything newer is just junk

Chevrolet unless you add Lexus to Toyota's bag the is far tougher

  I’ll choose Ferrari, way more stylish but 1000x more expensive in repairs lol
  
  But dealing with the super cars that MB/BMW/Porsche you’ll be paying equally in repairs as a Ferrari than say a 3 series or a c class

  @andreasderjuengere I have had 3 Chevys. All had well over 200K miles on them. I had a 2008 Tahoe tht had 235K miles. The transmission was starting to slip so I traded it in on a new Tahoe.

  @andreasderjuengere My wife had a 1991 County Squire. We had it for 15 years. and it was still running good but we wanted something else. We donated it to a charity. I was sitting at Wendy's 5 or 6 years later and I saw it drive by. I knew it was that car because of a bumper sticker I had on it.
