I know there are so many questions on that topic and I don't want to annoy y'all with bringing up that stuff again.. Also, I'm not the misogynistic type who blames women of being shallow or anything, so please be brutally honest! I love women and I have lots of female friends who I really like and care about!

I just wanted to know what your opinions on my situation are.
Since my start at university, I'm into a girl from campus who is taller than me.

I'm 5'7
She's like 5'10

When I walk past her, she sometimes looks at me like she was annoyed by my presence or something. Or maybe that's just paranoia? As far as I know, she's single, but she's always hanging out with all these hot girls and the cool tall guys so I've never felt comfortable talking to her so far. Once I heard her talk to a friend about a party they'd been on the night before, and when her friend told her that in the end she went home with "that hot guy", my crush went all euphoric and said something like:
"He was so tall!"
Does that tell me that height is super important for her? Or should I keep calm and rely on the fact that there are other qualities to impress her with?
I've talked to many of my female friends and they all told me that the female preference for a taller guy is universal and very strong and that I should stick to girls my height or shorter. The chart I put in the description also says that girls are very strict with their partners height!
The problem is that it isn't just her. I've always been into tall girls like 6ft or even more. Maybe that's the reason I always get rejected and never had a girlfriend...
I feel like I don't like her despite of her height but because of her height, like I love her big long body.
Is there any hope for me? Are there girls who can actually fall for someone who is a couple of inches shorter?

By respect I don't mean basic manners , respecting the modesty of women and stuff like that. A guy should respect the body of ALL woman whether he likes her or not

What I mean by respect is respecting the other person as an equal or looking up to them and genuinely being impressed by them for any thing they achieved or any quality they have

Guys are often so interesting, whereas girls don’t really have much to offer. I’ve never thought to myself ‘wow that girl was so cool.’ Girls are kind of dull and never spark interest it’s always up to a man yet women are just so boring
