I've posted a few questions lately about my frustrations in trying to meet people for friendship. Considering the fact that I'm in an open relationship, I'm open to friends with benefits.

I've had it with this new ghosting trend. It makes no damned sense to me. But I'm noticing another pattern now:

People who say that they're only looking for sex, or friendship, but secretly they're just afraid to actively look for a relationship because they've been hurt too much.

Are having sex, they will spring it on me that they're "falling for me" after constantly reminding me that this is "just meaningless sex", when I've made it clear that I'm not interested in being with them like that.

Like, who are you trying to convince? I have a man that I'm happy with, you're just added fun. And, when we're only meeting to hook up, how the fuck do you think you know me enough to be "in love"? What is wrong with people these days?

How many of you have said that you're looking for something casual when what you really wanted something serious? Voting in polls is completely anonymous, and anonymous opinions are welcome.

So my ex and I have technically been broken up for months but we still slept together and talked all the time, and last week we had an intense sexual conversation and he said he wanted me back. I found out that later that night, he went on a date with some girl from tinder. The next day, he blocked me on all social media except for one (twitter, which I hardly use). And by Sunday, he’s “in a relationship” with this new girl who friends said he met earlier last week. We started dating fairly quickly too but he hadn’t been in contact with his ex at the time or having sex with other girls. Today, I posted about getting ready to go out with someone on my “spam” Instagram (like a meme of my life, the kids will know what I mean) and his brother Dad it. Last night, I hadn’t been blocked on twitter, and now all of a sudden, I am. Is he playing a game with me? And what does this mean?

If you knew that your close female friend was traumatized sexually and that she was scared about having her first consensual time with a romantic partner because its too much stress to add the romantic element on top of the ptsd while naked and vulnerable and scared as fuck.. would you be willing to walk her through it and be there for her emotionally more than anything during, before, and after fucking her? Would you do it if you saw her from a purely platonic perspective, or would you have to have an element of romantic leaning type feelings for her? Because that's what I'm going through right now. And I want to make sure I'm not confused. Because he said that he's attracted to me but that he's not looking for a relationship right now and we don't have romantic chemistry. But then he also checks up on me constantly and we talk every day and he's been there for me through an abusive partner and he's been there for me during everything regarding my obtain spazzing out about the rape. When we first met we hooked up but i was nervous cuz it was going to be my first time and he stopped immediately and instead went down on me a little before kissing me and snuggling me a bit and turning on the tv and didn't try anything with me the rest of the night. So I'm just wondering if every guy would be willing to fuck his close girl friend and be there for her in such an observational, overly invested, extremely intimate, defenseless type of way that is vulnerable as fuck a thousand times more vulnerable than just basic animalistic sex. Could you partake in something that severe without having interest in the girl? Is it safe to say it is platonic as hell, or should I be concerned that he might have some level of hidden genuine interest in me of a romantic type leaning form? Thoughts? I am a 25 years old virgin, engaged. The things between me and him are going great and I love everything that's going on between us but sometimes I get confused and I am afraid we do sin even though we don't do not engage in any sexual activities. Making out is as far as we go, it does get really hot and heavy sometimes though (but no hands down there, nothing like that). He did touch my breasts several times really gently though and that was amazing but I am definitely not sure about that, really. So I would appreciate your opinion on this, whatever it is!

It should be said though that both he and I are Christians but we share the opinion that when the Bible was written, people would get married really young and not even knowing each other, so obviously romantic kissing, cuddling or moreover, making out and anything further than that would be considered not appropriate. Back then the woman would be betrothed, and then they would really communicate only after their first wedding night, right? Now the situation is very different and many people date for many months or years. The society has changed GREATLY, and so did the relationships between men and women. I am saying this because it's just a fact, not because I try to make an excuse, by the way :) It's just what we are thinking and we would love to hear your opinion too. We certainly do not want to have sex before marriage. But what about all the other stuff, what about all this "grey area"?
