I dated this girl on and off for almost two years before we got into a long term relationship. We kept breaking up because she was mormon.
I gave her church a chance and I didn't like it, and she said she would give our relationship a chance. And we had a wonderful and loving relationship for a while.
But she had decided for some reason to go on a mission, and I asked if she'd marry me before she left. She said she would but wouldn't formally accept it.
During her mission, she sent me a letter ending things and I had no way of contacting her while she was gone.
When she came back, I ran into her and I wanted to know why she did what she did. She said she couldn't accept our relationship and blamed our relationship failing on me. She kept changing what she was say and was inconsistent before walking off.

A few month later, I found out she got married. It tore me apart, but I figured this was the way things needed to be. So I moved on, even though I had the unfortunate accident of driving past her wedding while I was on a job.

It's been almost a year, and I have her blocked on everything. Because she used to stalk me when we were broken up.

Yesterday, I got a message from her. Asking if I would give her a chance to talk because she wanted to fix things and talk.
Today, I did some research. All I know as of right now is her and her husband got divorced. I don't know how long ago.

Do I hear what she has to say? She sent me a message this afternoon asking for forgiveness and saying she wants to move past what happened.

So, my ex girl friend and I began talking to each other again. We're very kind to each other and even friendly. Sending memes, talking a little bit. Nothing to personal yet from her side though. No I missed you's or anything. It's hard for me because I was the reason we broke up and she is so good for me. She went from not giving me the light of day to speaking with me again. Though I start the conversations. Should I try to respark the romance I once had? Or should I settle for what I've got now. As of rn she's guarded and I understand that. We drug each other through hell for 3 months but we were just unhappy and she thought breaking up with me was for the best. But now that the new decades here and I've had time to reflect. Do you think I should try and get her back in my life?
