Look at Hideo Nomo and Ichiro Suzuki. They were among the best players in Japan. Then they came to the US and joined a MLB team. They both won rookie of the year despite the fact that they were already elite players from playing in Japan. They aren't really rookies.

What's tops on your sporting bucket list

If a scenario happend would you be ok if a world cup was mixed gender with certain rules.

10 Outfield players equally split down the middle
5 men start
5 women start
1 Goalkeeper starts chosen by the manager and at halftime you have to sub them for the oposite sex. However the next game you have to switch so If a female starts the first game you must play a male goalkeeper first in the next match.

When it comes to subs you get 3 men and 3 women and you must alternate between genders so if you take off a male and you have to replace them with a person of the oposite sex and vice versa. Also if you deliberatley target a person of the oposite sex you will get a straight red card. So if a male footballer throws abuse or tries to injury someone or a female slaps a male etc they get an extended ban or potentially thrown out the tournament.

Also if you have an unavailable player you must replace them in the match squad with someone of the same sex if you can. Also if you are forced to sub off say a female due to injury and you subbed a female previously for a male you would simply replace the female if possible with another if not you would be allowed to sub on a male.

Also the tournament would be held in a country voted for by the public and you can not vote for your country of birth or the country you currently live and work in and it has to be a UN recognised country apart from anyone the the UN has officialy said have violated human rights laws to a major extent.

Is it too late for me or anyone to be able to reach competition level for any sport or even combat sports for instance like boxing 🥊 ?

Her degree is Major Marketing and Minor Communication.

She said she wants operate a bakery someone day

She loves basketball and will play pro ball

She has a high Basketball IQ and I believe will try coaching. Her GPA is 3.6 currently.

She shoots high 70's and low 80's in golf , so she might try professional golf. They make more money than pro basketball players and you can play golf into your 70's

She could also be a Sports Broadcaster with her experience.

I also would not be shocked if she buys into a pro team or holds executive position.

Her opportunities are endless.

Most pro women play between 11 and 15 years with no injuries. So she would be 37 years old after 15 years in pros. Still time to Coach, play pro golf, or get into sport casting.

I think she is the greatest female basketball player ever.

Pros of staying :

1) She can pad her stats and no one will ever touch her records

2) She can support her coach and help with young talent coming in

3) She receives a lot of money from sponsors now

4) She could start her Masters degree

5) She will only make $74,371 her first year WNBA

6) Could Set more records with a 5th Year

1) Could get injured

2) She can't win NCAA title because IOWA loses 4 or 5 players including 3 starters and 2 best bench players.

3) Nothing left to prove in College Basketball

4) Will be #1 draft pick in WNBA going to Indiana Fever

5) Would give her one more year of playing time in pros

6) Set records in college in 4 years not 5 years

7) Even more sponsors , will make more than M Jordan and Tiger Woods combined

8) Also the more years in pro the more money you make

9) She will get money for concession sales of her shirts , hats , etc

Like the Superbowl, World Series, NBA Finals, and NCAA Tournament? Most people never watch seasonal games of any of these sports.

Why? To have a reason to get drunk?

I never understood it. Like when it is 110 degrees outside , people start jogging. Never jog at 70 or 80 degrees.

So how many of you will watch Superbowl , but not even watched one complete NFL game this year?
