Surely they should return back to the brand identity that "Roman Catholics are conservative, Western Protestants progressive (usually more so than Rome)" after all Protestants aren't under the Pope's religious authority. As a Catholic, though in a ideal world a Protestant, I say the Cardinals should have picked a conservative from among themselves to succeed Francis or eventually Francis I ( The First ).

Anyways - the downside is supposedly I watched American news saying the voting Cardinals are 80 percent *chosen by Francis* so I feel like doesn't that skew the upcoming results lol as one sided "gonna end up with another Pope who's as progressive lol as Francis was lol" 😂 😆

I live near Knoxville, and yesterday night, an EF2 tornado raked through Morgan County, killing a mother and her daughter. This was a long-lived supercell, and I remember watching it strengthen north of Cookeville and travel across multiple counties. It ended up passing through just barely north of downtown Knoxville. It was a scary night for sure.

East Tennessee had seen an increase in tornado activity these past 3 years. Just last year, another tornado struck Morgan County. I have a friend that lives in a distant county, and every year for the past 4 years, an actual tornado warning is issued for his area.

A couple years ago, an EF2 tornado struck near where I live.

People have complained about the stuffed dog toy on sale at Aldi's, claiming that it is offensive and in bad taste. Apparently, they don't like the bone in the dog's pocket.

For those who don’t know, Sexy Redd is this rapper who's known for being pretty provocative and controversial. She's got this whole ratchet, in-your-face kind of persona that she uses to try and get attention.

Well, recently she did something that's got a lot of people really pissed off. She used some AI image of herself photoshopped together with Martin Luther King Jr.

The photos show Sexyy Red like, holding hands with Dr. King and stuff. It's supposed to be this edgy, "sexy" take on him, which is just totally messed up and disrespectful.

Martin Luther King Jr. was this hugely important civil rights leader who dedicated his life to fighting for equality and justice. He was assassinated for his work. And now this rapper is trying to turn him into some kind of sexual object just to get people talking about her.

Dr. King's own daughter, Bernice King, saw the photos and she was furious. She called it "intentionally distasteful, dishonoring, deplorable, and disrespectful" to her family. She straight-up told Sexyy Red to delete the posts.

But Sexyy Red hasn't taken them down yet, even after getting called out by MLK's own daughter. That's just adding insult to injury.

There's even talk of legal action being taken against Sexyy Red for the unauthorized use of Dr. King's image. She's really playing with fire here, trying to make this iconic civil rights leader into some kind of prop for her own fame and attention.
