A Most Helpful Opinion (MHO) is an Opinion the Question Asker voted as Most Helpful to them. MHO% reflects the ratio of the number of your Most Helpful opinions to your total number of "eligible" opinions (eligible opinions are your opinions for questions that has MHO selected for your gender "after" you post your opinion). Therefore, your MHO% is not affected if you post an opinion to a question which already has the MHO selected for your gender. Your MHO% is also not affected until the question asker selects MHO for your gender.
