Search Results: should guys wear pink

I tried to do it like an instagram models but it came out differently probably way differently. I used light pink on the outer corners of my lips and a bright red on the inner corners i also used a little bit of eyeliner like a thin line pointing down and some eyeshadow (shimmer on the inner corners, natural beige, and a darkish brown on the outer corners of the eye. I post a lot of pictures because i’m hoping that that increases the accuracy. And the guy i happen to like happens to be korean maybe i’m being too extra 😂

I bought a shirt.. just its not any shirt. Its the shirt from the show Stranger Things.. Specifically its Hopper's woven green and pink shirt from the third season. I know its more of a shirt for a guy but I bought it because I think it looks really nice. I am a girl and I have an idea of how I want to wear it creatively. I do want to wear it but should I? I just feel like so many guys are wearing it and i dont know im being weird overthinking. Id like to hear your opinions.

First, I have nothing against dress codes at private institutions that no one is forced to go to or attend. That is their choice to have them, and should, when and where appropriate.

I'm just wondering if in this case there is a double standard. Here's my point. Hear me out please.

If you are a female student at "Boylan Catholic High School", the following is what you "CAN NOT" wear...

And it doesn't stop there, here's more...

OK, fine and dandy so far since this is a "Private School" and should be allowed to have their own rules.

But to me here is where the "Double Standard" comes in. Here are the guys dress code rules...

They show a guy allowed to wear "Hot Pink" accents. Pink has always been considered to be a feminine color by a large percentage of the population. We can argue all day as to whether it should be, or not, but that doesn't change the fact that pink on guys can, and will, bring on a more feminized connotation by many more than almost any other color. I personally don't have anything against guys wearing pink, so don't take me wrong.. but that doesn't change my point of how it is perceived by some others.

Here is my point, and my question... why can guys come to the prom in, what many consider, feminized attire and girls can not attend in even slightly sexy dress?

Why am I thinking that the Catholic "men" leaders, who are in charge of these catholic institutions and are still to this day molesting catholic boys, making these decisions?

Am I just a conspiracy buff, imagining things again?

What do you think about the whole dress code of Boylan in general?
