Maybe they were below your league and you disn't find them attractive but somehow you ended up daing them and were pleasantly surprised?

Or maybe they were way above your league and you never thought you'd date thewm because of that - but somehow your dream came true.

Assuming everything else is positive. He has a good personality, is smart, respectful, talented, has a good job, etc.

Be brutally honest, would his height be a deal breaker?

Would you rather date someone who liked to be alone,

or someone who was always with friends?

We're all somewhere along the spectrum from hermit to party planner. Where do you fall, and what type do you like?

Would being too much of either cause you to stop dating them?

It seems really silly to ask but over the years I have sadly come to realize that very plain and simple females are shallow and materialistic (yes could be a generalization or just what I am used to unfortunately), and I realize most males are as well.

But would you date a vegan ? whether its a raw or cooked vegan.

I have made some health and lifestyle changes and its a choice mainly for health reasons but am also leaning towards the humane treatment of the animals involved and etc.

I realize what someone puts in their mouth doesn't define who they are but their personality, quirks, flaws etc. But since most if not close to all won't even talk to someone much less consider being with them for physical traits, or lack there of this is where my curiosity comes in regarding if you would date/pursue a relationship with a vegan.

This question is primarily for the ladies since I am straight, but guys would you date a female who was a vegan?

I'm sure this question has been asked before in one way shape or form, but that's OK. I would like to revive it and make it my own.

Anyway, I'm a very short guy. 5'4, and I feel that it has really killed me in the dating world. I've really struggled to get GF's or even a date for that matter, even though girls constantly tell me I'm attractive, dress well, am smart, a good guy, would make a good dad, have a good career, etc. I'm also fully aware of how to interact with girls. I'm not some inept loser who practically throws up out of nervousness when talking to a girl.

It just seems that by process of elimination it must be height that is causing me to get rejected over and over again (even by girls shorter than me), even though on every other front people always tell me how I have so much going for me. I just don't understand how I can feel like I'm doing everything right and have limited success in relation to my peers who do almost everything wrong and have dates and GF's coming out of their ears.

So again, am I pretty much screwed in dating since I'm so short, will 90% of women simply not give me the time of day because they just cannot be attracted to someone of my height?

So I just scored tickets to an NBA game happening tomorrow from my buddy.

There is this girl that I just met and would like to bring with me as a date. I don't know her super well yet. I just met her at a party last week because she is the roommate of one of my friends. I'm supposed to go visit her work today which is where I plan talk to her a bit and eventually ask her out on this date.

If a guy you've only met a few times asked you on a date and that date was to attend a pro sports game (as opposed to basic dinner and a movie or something) with him, do you think that would be to forward and come off as me moving to fast? In case it matters, this girl is almost a big sports fan, so all the more reason I figured it might be a good idea to ask her.

Thinking about that movie, "hes just not that into you" I wonder if the reverse is true.

I know with women, they will almost chase a guy that they are into, and he can give pretty strong signs he doesn't want them, but they still push for it.

Now, guys text...and girls don't reply. I imagine if I were "that guy" she was totally into, she would text back soon, within an hour at least.

So, if she doesn't reply in a timely manner, then...?

So I'm talking to this girl, we're both teens, and after my very first text to her she didn't respond. I complained to one of my close friends about it(who's friends with her) and he asked her

"So what's going on between you and him" casually and she replied

"I got his text, but I was busy and was gonna text later. Then I when I got home I forgot to text him"

Anyway so not knowing my friend has asked(he didn't tell me till later) I used the 3 day rule and sent her a second text and she responded. Then we had a very short mini conversation, with her using emoticons and everything, and got to know some basic stuff about each other

Today the same thing happened, only I got a bit more personal and asked her about some of her hobbies, interests, etc, and me and her texted back very shortly(about 10 texts in total), and she replied just fine and into the conversation. However she stopped texting mid-conversation(ironically, around the same time as that first conversation) so I let it go and didn't send a 2nd text.

What do you guys think about all this? I'm not totally sure about her interest level in me, which is why ill try talking to her tomorrow, but I don't understand girls and their texting habits

Describe how much PDA (public display of affection) you like. PDA includes things like kissing, hugging, holding hands, cuddling, or even quick comments like like "I love you", all while obviously in a public setting or amongst other people.

Feel free to go into more detail the the poll provides as to things like frequency, specific settings and what is OK in those settings, specific gestures you like or dislike, etc.

Real short and sweet scenario:

So I'm texting this girl and at one point she told me that she's looking into some sort of science major for her future career

I texted back saying "Well you could start by finding out the science behind your beautiful looks :D"

she never replied. I'm guessing she's a bit shy, but any opinions?

And note we're teens if that makes any difference

So, I talk/flirt/text/call multiple girls all the time. I am single and not even dating any of them yet. My question is if its bad that I do this? So girls and guys tell me if you think its bad to do or if you do it?

If I started going out on dates with one of them then I would stop flirting with the other ones.

And I am not leading them on, we act like flirty friends. I would date some of them, but I just want to pick the one that would be the best for both of us. But I would still be friends with the others if I started to date one of them.

Just curious if girls do this and talk to multiple guys too, before they pick one?
