I was flicking through TV channels. One was a fertility clinic reality. The reason I paused on it was the girl was having her eggs harvested and fertilized by a sperm donor.

My first thought was would I accept this, if I subsequently dated her? Would other guys?

OK harvesting and preserving her eggs, if she is getting to an age where she might not produce viable eggs any more, is one thing but getting them fertilized seems a bit insulting to a future partner.

If I dated a girl and she told me the deal is I accept not having paternity, but do all the other father stuff I would feel insulted. How about you?

With a single mom at least you know the deal straight up before you went on a date.

I am 29 and always stayed away from dating. I’m not the most handsome guy in the world, not the tallest, richest. That’s what it boils down to
I don’t want to be second best. My ego can’t deal with that. Also also I’m not sure if women are ever happy and just want more and more.

I have dated pretty girls that were bi and I straight away cut things off. it doesn’t make sense to me.

Even if you have a loyal partner occasionally you have to keep on eye on her, but your girl you’ll have to keep an eye on everyone? Also half of her desires won’t be satisfied. Also doesn’t sound like she’ll be traditional/conservative

I've only had one girlfriend a few years back, and she did not seem very interested in sex in the year we were dating.

I kept asking her then if it was because I was too small for her. She would always say no but would also seem to avoid the question.

One night we were both drunk and she jokingly said that it 'was the size of a lighter', she apologised a lot the next morning and said she felt bad. We broke up for different reasons and I haven't dated since.
