Why do women like confidence/ambition?

It’s very important to women. It would make sense they don’t want the opposite - but why is it such a big thing?

It's most likely biological. In a evolutionary sense a woman has children. And she needs to know that the man she bears those children for will be able to protect her and those children. Confidently presenting himself is just another way he suggests his ability to handle any and all situations.

I know this doesn't make much sense in the modern sense with all the skeezers out there that get a train run on them by every swinging dick that pops them a line. But nobody ever said feelings were completely logical.

You have to understand A LOT of women today are trash and don't even know it. Most of these women don't even choose confident guys. Most of these women wouldn't have a clue as to what true confidence look like. Because a lot of these women had either no fathers or very weak ones. Most of them do not know what a man looks or acts like. So they fall back on pop culture to teach them. And they are misled badly. Most won't ever even realize this (if they ever do) till they middle aged with a string of illegitimate kids. And the cycle will continue and grow.

It's an unfortunate and very common tale.
