For A Date, Do You Prefer To Meet Up At The Location, Or To Go There Together In A Car?

Question

I've been told by some girls that they're not comfortable with their date knowing where they live when they're getting picked up, so they prefer to meet them at the location instead. It isn't until they're officially in a relationship that they're comfortable with their boyfriend knowing, naturally.

it really is up to her and her comfort level, so meeting at a place does have advantages.
They can feel safer, who knows who is picking them up, or what might happen on the way back home after the date, and it isn't the worst thing if the date just plain doesn't work out well, there is just a goodbye, enjoy life and off we go to wherever we feel like going.
Plus, the prerequisite phone call text from her friend to see how the date is going.
I don't mind that at all, a person can't be too careful.

Depends on how much chemistry band connection we have prior to the first date , I usually get to know a girl first over the phone or FaceTime before asking her on a date , so I will offer to pick her up if that’s was the case , but if it’s just a girl I met that I don’t know too much about , I will ask her to meet me somewhere just in case the date goes bad , her and I can just both leave and go our separate ways lol

For a first date yes meeting up is ideal but if it's been a couple of dates then going together would be more ideal. I'm a passenger princess so if I can avoid driving I will lol

Meet up works for me. Less hassle picking her up and dropping her off. I don't know where she lives and she doesn't know where I live. Fair is fair. If she wants to leave, she has transportation. If I want to get out of there same, I have my car. No need for an awkward ride after a failed date. I may be able to salvage the evening.

It's safer, we can both decide on a public location we both feel safe at, we can both go our own ways if things don't work out, and less chance of vehicle getting damaged if the girl I'm meeting is actually crazy, petty, & vindictive.
