We all know that rainbows contain red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, that's how sir Isaac Newton named them
But where IS the violet?

In the picture, you can see the real visible spectrum which is what you see when you see a rainbow, but note that there is no violet at all! How come we (wrongly) think that violet is in the rainbow?

So I will be going to interviews for my work term in IT, and I was told that it is a formal dress code. I really like the look of the 3 piece suit, and tie I find it really classy, and cool.


This isn't totally what I was imagining, but it is pretty close. If a tie is a bit too much, I am for the bow thing she has on the go.

My main concern is because I have short hair, and I am thinking about dressing more masculine that companies will think that I am one of those whiny SJW "transgender" brats (which I am not).

So do you think women wearing a tie to a formal interview is appropriate?

P. S. I have been told that the companies tend to be conservative.

I personally miss the days before I became a cheerleader. Being a normal... Well... normalish kid, having free time. Lol but older generations miss everything... wbu?

According to my experience after being taught by the teacher for almost 2 years now, I don't think she's a good teacher. It's because she is very vague while teaching us students, so the information regarding what we were learning were very limited. Her reason? she said she doesn't want to spoon feed us, she wanted us to find out everything and then do the presentation of it. Due to her super vagueness, me and my classmates couldn't do the presentation correctly and it led to us being scolded and screamed at by her. When she get angry, she'll get personal and sometimes we could sense her pure hatred towards us as she scold us students. She said we'll fail our tests (and most of the time, we all did fail). Instead of helping us to improve, she screamed at us why we students are too stupid to understand what she's teaching and that's it. We find it hard to improve ourselves because she don't really want to help us. We did consider meeting another teacher but she was very mad when she found out about it, claiming that the other teacher's techniques are wrong but the other teacher's past students always get As and A*s. According to our knowledge, my teacher's past students never got good grades, not even a C. Most of the time, my teacher would come to class, already in a bad mood and then, she'll start to scold us, demotivating us and belittling us. She'd dissed the students she hates indirectly but of course, the students she dissed knew that she's talking about them that's why these students kept on skipping her class. I don't know what her problem is with us... I don't get how she managed to stay in school and continue teaching, despite having such unprofessional attitude. Once, she even dissed a female student whose mom just passed away without feeling guilty, saying she's an orphan and stuff.

Should I report her? Or nah...

So I'm turning 22 tomorrow, and I'm considering getting a cartilage piercing on my right ear. Nothing crazy. Just a simple stud. I already have two piercings on my ear lobe that I always keep studs in so I feel like this would be a nice addition. However, I'm currently in grad school and I want to be a school counselor. If I get my cartilage pierced, is it going to be considered unprofessional by future employers?

I have a job that pays 9.75 per hour. I am part time so I tend to work work less than 40 hours a week and right now im only working two days a week because its a retail job and its slow retail season. My school offers work study where I work for the school and they reduce my tuition, they are flexible with my schedule, but I can work only up to nineteen hours (im taking 6 classes), the award letter is the maximum I can make per semester I think mine says 20k. I am paid twice a month.

So, I found a pretty good college that I'm considering to go into but it's about 90 thousand dollars per year. Is this a good, reasonable price for college?
