Do the words "New and Improved" on the box or the package, make it more likely that you will purchase?

In my case, it makes it less likely because, in my opinion, "New and Improved" implies the quantity but not the price is less. Or it could be lower quality. In any event, "Improved" implies an improved profit margin.
