i absolutely hate the size of my legs and want them to be smaller. so i was wondering, if i run for an hour every day for a week, would i notice anything? or would it be longer than a week where i'd notice change in my legs? i don't have a problem running for an hour or more for longer than a week, I'm just wondering. yes i know that in order to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you consume.

please also don't tell me "accept your body for how it is" , "weight doesn't matter" , and so on because trust me, if you seen my legs and how big they are, you'd tell me to start running immediately.

also, i don't want my legs to get bigger/bulkier, i want them to get smaller/thinner.

Hi! Just curious about the general opinion.
(I'm only interested in the diferences that can be achieved by lifestyle changes, so don't go saying something like "tiny waist but with big curves" because that can't be achieved by everyone)

So I'm 17, and I hate to admit but I have a very unhealthy diet. I drink sodas regularly, eat chips and ice cream etc. I've never worked out a day in my life. I don't even do very active sports. But, I have very very visible abs! I'm a teenage girl and have more defined abs than my guy friends in their twenties who work out EVERYDAY!!! I'm not complaining lol, just confused as to why. Is it because I have an extremely fast metabolism and my fat % is super low? I just don't know. For example my abs are so defined you can set a pencil in the creases and it will stay for the most part lol

for all of you who think I'm trolling this is 100% real. All of my friends are equally as confused. Can someone shed some light?

I was supposed to start this program today where I do Bikram Yoga and cardio. I fractured my rib April 1st, and I was wondering if I would be alright doing it. Like my rib hurts still (depends what I do-- like declined sit ups) so I'm just curious. It's taking forever to heal, if I keep waiting I won't be working out for like another month. Which is not an option for me haha. I've done a lot of research and it's been like a 50/50 response. Someone convince me haha.

At work I see so many go in and out of the toilets without washing their hands! It's shocking!

I personally like wearing thongs to the gym because they just make me feel sexier in general. However I had a conversation with a guy at the gym the other day and he said he doesn't like girls wearing them because it distracts him from his workout. But it's not like people can see that I'm wearing them, as nothing shows.
So my question for you guys is, does it bother you?
The question for girls is, do you wear them to the gym?

I'm a curvy woman who is tired of word "curvy" being used to describe something that is unhealthy (if you don't think I'm right, check with your doctor). Curves should be seen, not hidden under layers of fat, that's the point of being curvy. Also I don't have anything against you, it's your choice to have lots of weight, not mine. And you should also be self aware enough to know whether you're curvy with a little extra or "curvy" with way to much extra. I wish I was taller than I am though, but calling myself a tall girl really doesn't make me one.
