Do you agree that the word "curvy" should be given its original meaning?

So basically do you agree that:

THIS is curvy

THIS is chubby

And THIS is fat

I'm a curvy woman who is tired of word "curvy" being used to describe something that is unhealthy (if you don't think I'm right, check with your doctor). Curves should be seen, not hidden under layers of fat, that's the point of being curvy. Also I don't have anything against you, it's your choice to have lots of weight, not mine. And you should also be self aware enough to know whether you're curvy with a little extra or "curvy" with way to much extra. I wish I was taller than I am though, but calling myself a tall girl really doesn't make me one.

I agree! Real curvy women are like Beyonce, Marilyn Monroe, Kim Kardashian

I disagree, I think that even those who are plus size are curvy but they have some extra curves

2018: ' I am curvy' says a 120 kg woman... It's been ruined. The first pic is curvy, maybe even a bit more than that, that's the body I desire, over it you're fat. While I don't mind someone being slightly overweight but if they want to accept the way they are, they are just being lazy to reduce weight.

I guess the way that I would best define it is that curves are smooth, they aren't lumpy. True curves would indicate a level of tightness in order for them to be smooth.

I feel that when SOME people refer to a fat woman as curvy because they don't want to use the word fat but however there are some woman who are fat but curvy, and also slim women with curves, so I do agree with you.

For me, it depends. Curviness isn't based on a woman's size, per se, but her shape. To me, all three different types of women you have shown are on the same spectrum (though not inherently the same), and that is "thick." Some common physical attributes they share are big booty, thick thighs, and (often times) big breasts. For me, the key attribute that determines whether or not a woman is "curvy," regardless of how big or small she is, is inward curves on her hips that create some type of hourglass figure. In essence, while fat and curvy are not inherently the same thing, I do believe it is possible for a woman to be both (Ashley Graham would be an example of that).

I wouldn't be quite that draconian about it, as women who are larger may also be "curvy" depending on relative ratios, but yes, the term has become a bit of a euphemism.

A curve is just a bent straight line. I prefer the curves of muscles over those of fat though. They are more sturdy and it feels better when you grab the tissue lol.
