I know I am. As is most of Canada. When I was young Canada 's big hockey adversary was the Soviet Union. But we still did not boo the Soviet national anthem. How things have changed. Now Canadians hate team USA. Wonder why that is?

People often quibble about the definition of being rich, but there are actual quantifiable levels according to your states income data. Do you actually meet the minimum threshold to be rich in your state? How about if you moved to another state?

I have this guy in my class whom I’ve known for a long time from an old school. We both moved to the same college, and since we didn’t know anyone there, we naturally started talking more. Recently, as we’ve been spending more one-on-one time together, I’ve started developing feelings for him.

I’ve heard that most guys believe men and women can’t really be just friends, so I thought that by spending more time together and getting closer, maybe he’d start to like me too. I consider myself an attractive person—people tend to turn their heads when I enter a room—so I wonder if he sees me as just a friend or if he might want something more.

The only thing that makes me doubt is that I’m four years older than him, and I wonder if that affects how he sees me. One thing I’m sure about is that if he wanted a hookup, he wouldn’t say no—but I’m not sure if he would actually want a relationship with me.

30F and I wonder if most women get where I’m coming from. I’ve never been in a real relationship, saw someone very briefly in my early twenties. Haven’t had sex either since then and don’t feel the need to, masturbating doesn’t do anything for me. Also doesn’t help that I’m not the friendliest, the only way I’ve met up with guys over the years were on dating apps. I get attention on them but it just feels off in a way, I’ve always felt like I am going to end up alone. I don’t want kids but like the idea of getting married, over the years people have justified my single status to being picky or shy etc. Those are excuses or cop outs, I feel like compared to the average woman though I likely get less attention from guys in person.

Literally the only attention I’ve gotten from guys I find attractive are on dating apps, in person maybe someone I was outside with would tell me that this guy looked at me etc (on and off throughout the years). But they never make it known to me directly, it makes me second guess things. It’s like I always wonder why I never have a boyfriend if I’m told I’m attractive, I also hear about a lot of introverted/socially awkward women that are in long term relationships. I really wonder if finding the right person is the answer to all my issues, I’ve spoken to guys in the past and tend to find ways to get out of it before I determine if they’re a good fit or not. Something about guys has always felt…different. Since I was in my teens, never got the craze with being boy crazy etc.

My fiancee recently proposed and I'm over the moon! But we have a problem. We live in Maine, which is wear my family is from. We are visiting his family in Minnesota right now and they seem to think we are going to have the wedding there, but my parents want it at my families church in Maine. My fiancee seems to be ok with either.

Honestly I'd rather do it in Minnesota. My older brother is the pastor at my family's church and I don't want him to wed us, but I feel guilty for not doing it there, but I feel bad for not doing it in Minnesota because my fiancee rarely visits. I hate making decisions T_T

Done this twice to a guy who was playing games and dating my friend at the same time! Made sure he knows that I was a good Mistress and might have left him tied up for his dormates to find!

He never got it and just became a baby daddy to 4 kids who have 7 of his kids. Some people never try and have healthy relationships.

Few times but it's just never worth it. Easier to just move on and forget.

A grieving Texas mother says her 11-year-old daughter took her own life after classmates threatened to call Immigration and Customs and Enforcement (ICE) to have her deported.

Jocelynn Rojo Carranza passed away on February 8 after spending five days being treated in a Dallas hospital. This came after she was taunted with deportation threats for weeks by sixth-grade classmates at Gainesville Intermediate School, around 70 miles north of Dallas, her mother Marbella Carranza told Univision.

Her death comes amid president Donald Trump’s ordering for the “largest deportation operation in American history,” prompting agents with ICE and other federal authorities to launch targeted raids on approximately 12 million undocumented immigrants nationwide.

OK, we've done pizza, so it's time for ice-cream. Most of our flavours are the same you get everywhere else, but I've tried to pick out something that represents each nation. I've chosen ice-creams based on a drink linked to the relevant country.

ENGLAND. Sloe gin ice-cream.
Sloes and damsons are a fruit that grow in hedgerows and are collected by English people to flavour their gin. English women drink a lot of gin.

SCOTLAND. Irn-bru ice-cream.
Irn-bru is a soft drink made from soaking iron girders in carbonate water. It was invented to combat iron deficiency in children and remains Scotlands' favourite non alcoholic drink.

WALES. Merlyn cream liquor ice-cream.
Pretty, much a rip off of Bailey's Irish cream but less sweet for when granny wants a change.

Hi Guys and Gals,

In one of my jobs I've been advised to promote daily affirmations. However small they may be, hearing a positive affirmation before heading out the door helps "manifest" a better day.

As someone whose life tends to be a running blooper reel of experiences I then use to help others get through work-life road bumps, I do check in with myself... make sure I'm on track... my mantras tend to be a bit on the sarcastic side, like... "Ok, coffee, we've got this..." as I grab my keys and head out the door.
