I was in a relationship with a guy and we had a mutual friend, more his friend (even though he knew her through me but that's another story). She called him kitten also when I was around and I hated every second of it. Platonic he said but I didn't like it.

The word I think to me has a very sexual/lover connotation when you call someone else that. It's not a name for a platonic friend in my silly opinion. This became a whole thing as I had to bring it up multiple times but he said it was just a nickname and it wasn't a big deal, for me it was just too much and if she called him cat or whatever I wouldn't have cared. But kitten? Come oooon.

It's been months and I was wondering what people think of this. Am I being too insecure or is it just... not good?

I absolutely love the freedom of living on my own. I come and go as I please, it prepares you for the future , and an escape from drama.

So, im 30f, I've lost a lot of weight and im recently single. My biggest fear in starting a relationship is my boobs, its my biggest insecurity.. they used to be big like really big, but now that i lost a lot of weight (70kg) they are still big but they sag down my belly. I hate looking myself naked in the mirror because i look like shit with them.. im against getting butchered and getting surgery, but im looking for other options thats non invasive. Ladies if you have any suggestions for let me know.

A child ages 12 and above is already judged and sentenced as an adult when he/she commits serious crimes. Long ago, they had a case of a 12 year-old boy that was given a life sentence without parole but it got changed somehow. Now it's life sentence with parole and maybe released after 25 years if they are proven to be rehabilitated. At least that's how it works here in the US. It gives severe prison time even for minors as young as 12.

Junior and High school bullies are vicious. If they are already treated as adults for serious crimes, should it be the same for bullying, for them to get judged as adults for that too, esp if it led to the victim committing suicide?

12-14 year-olds aren't little kids anymore. They know exactly what they're doing by then.

I read about the “are we dating the same guy” in an article about the groups being a potential lawsuit waiting to happen. I joined the ones in my city cause I was curious but after reading through a lot of posts, I genuinely shocked at how unhinged the posts are. With one post calling for the police to be contacted because a guy was really rude to her in messages ( he called her fat). The odd post was helpful, one was about a guy who had a string of criminal convictions for domestic violence but the majority are cray cray esp the ones in my city.

So have you joined them, have they helped you? Are you a man, Have you ever been a victim of one of these groups? I’m genuinely curious cause I can see these groups ruining someone’s life.

I asked him if I made him uncomfortable and if he wanted to stop teaching me guitar that’s absolutely fine but he just said “no, it’s all fine, don’t worry dude” even though I think there’s several signs that show he’s probably not comfortable or he can tell that I’m really attracted to him. Why would a guy just brush things off and not address them? He also said the other day that he got divorced and also said that he “doesn’t teach people that he doesn’t have time for — money isn’t the main thing anymore, some people are just too emotionally draining” why would he say this to me? I don’t know whether there’s mutual attraction or whether I just make him uncomfortable? But I’ve cancelled my next lesson with him because I need to sort my head out.
it’s just odd how he’s friendly and open… but things can be so awkward and weird at the same time.
