+1 yThe girl in the 1st image and the girl in the 7th image nailed it. 7th one reminds me of the famous actress Anna May Wong. 2 and 6 are very inaccurate. It's stuff modernn girls wear at parties who think that's what girls dressed like back then but actually didn't. The rest are ok.

You only need to look at the movies from the era to see how high class people who had resources to survive the Depression were dressing.00 Reply
+1 y5 and that make up is wow😍 .. I love all the styles but 5 is eye catching. I went to an event in Ashville NC "roaring 20s" had a blast this was the style. Also, loved the styles in peaky blinders. If you haven't watched it check it out. Cillian murphy is gorgeous

Oh, I adore the idea of a 20's themed party! The fashion from the 1920s has this timeless elegance and fun to it, don't you think? If I had to choose an outfit, I'd definitely lean towards a flapper dress - they're so iconic of the era. Picture this: a beautiful, knee-length, fringe-covered dress that dances as you move, paired with a headband adorned with feathers or maybe even a sparkling gemstone. And you can’t forget the pearls! A long string of pearls would just set the whole look off.
There's just something about the combination of glamour and rebellion in the 1920s fashion that has always fascinated me. The bold choices in fabrics, cuts, and accessories - it was all about breaking norms and expressing oneself. If you're diving into this theme, don't hold back - it's all about that jazz, baby! What's your take on the 20's style? Planning to channel your inner Gatsby or Daisy? 🎉✨05 Reply- +1 y
Hey Amy, knee-length was not how they wore those dresses, not even the Flappers who were the promiscuous girls of the time. And Feather headbands weren't a thing either. It's all stuff you see in party stores nowadays.

My ex had loads of these, and the accessories. We went to a lot of parties dressed up

Just a little bit, there are a few places still make them for customers, prices are crazy
+1 yThat's terrible to me. I like classics but that's just so tacky and cheesy. But I like #1 if we're going with that idea. It's kind of cute.

I like the general concept but I don't think there needs to be so much glitter and fluttery parts everywhere. If we truly love the female body, we don't need to decorate it so much in my opinion. It detracts more than accentuates.

I don't like it if you'll forgive me! I now know what to do with these time machine questions. I design better party clothing for the 20s!

+1 yOption 6 is the classic flapper outfit from the 1920s.
02 Reply- +1 y
Nope. They didn't wear it that short, didn't wear that cut, and that type of fringe at the bottom of the dress didn't actually exist. It's a myth.

What sort of men's styles were popular a century ago?
s +1 ysuits were the big trend (three piece suits), fancy elegant hats (fedora, trilby n homburg hat), high wasited trousers, shirts mostly white or light colored ones made of linen or cotton such as polo shirts n guayaberas, overcoats, n finally leather Oxford or Derby shoes with a rounded toe
